Romulus and Hugo had made it just before us (ironic huh) and were about to talk to the Titan about freeing him and rising his brethren to raze Olympus, but we crashed the meeting and our element of surprise lasted about 5 seconds as we are captured by 3 Cyclops'. As my lungs are being squished by my ribs from the 1 eyed giant who has a grip on me, I catch Romulus' wild and insane gaze, his eyes are wide and he has a sickening, malicious grin on his face. Hugo is standing next to him with a widespread smile, his red eyes, the same colour as Romulus' are filled with a look of excitement and anticipation for the destruction of the gods, "Atlas" Romulus spoke, his voice strident and gravelly. gripping the Titan's utmost attention "We wish to speak to you about freeing you and your family to uproot the gods of Olympus" Hugo finished his voice orotund. I meanwhile thought of machete and sliced upwards, cutting off the Cyclops' fingers, turning them to dust, I land on the floor with a thud and throw a battleaxe at Hugo, who dodges the attack with ease. The Cyclops takes a swing at me with his other hand which ultimately misses as I cut it off at the wrist and shoot it in the head with an arrow, turning it completely to monster remains, I shoot the other 2 Cyclops' in their weak points and they turn out the same way, in monster hell, "I knew you'd be back" Atlas spoke in a hoarse voice as though in endless pain, which he was. "You act like I came here by choice" I reply angrily walking closer to the Titan with the weight of the world on his shoulders, "But you did" he replies almost laughing, he turns his attention back to Romulus "None of you will survive the weight long enough for me to free my brethren, none of you except for her... The ...Lost ...One" he eventually choked out, Romulus looks over to me with a pleading look "No way, don't even think about it" "Give me the sky" he snaps angrily "What are you doing?!" I shout at him as he takes the sky from Atlas, he opens his mouth to answer or scream but can't do either, "Take it back, he's going to die! You're killing him" I shout at Atlas "Why should I care for him?, you take it" he answers "Mia, don't do it!" Daniel says, I sprint towards Romulus and take the burden from him, he collapses in front of me and I clench my teeth together in agony, my vision blurry and my whole body aching with the weight of the sky, Romulus opens his eyes and focuses on me, his malice evident, "I knew it" he says and his mouth spreads into a sick smile and he gets up and walks over to Hugo "Not so smart now are you?, Lost One" Atlas says, The Lost One, the last prophecy given by the oracle whilst it was still located in Delphi, was about a child of the big three gods being born and lost (obviously) that holds great power, enough to overthrow Olympus, suddenly the weight gets heavier and I let out a painful scream, the world around me glows gold and the weight disappears, I'm on the ground and Atlas
is holding the sky, Romulus charges me with his sword drawn, I think of armour and jump up and block his attack, sparring back and forth with him and accidentally impaled my sword in his abdomen, the grin falls from his face as he falls to the floor and says "I'm sorry" as his eyes go dark as tears fall upon his blank face. The big three gods have one again miraculously appeared and are standing in front
me having a meltdown, Daniel comforting me, Cato looking for Hugo as he fled the scene, Atlas, whom cannot talk and Romulus' dead body, "So about the parentage thing" Poseidon starts "It's really not our fault" Zeus tries to explain "It's just that you aren't meant to be alive" Hades adds "Yeah, it's totally not your fault that I was born and that's definitely all my doing" I reply sarcastically to their petty excuse, "Look, it's actually not our fault, the whole prophecy is;
The child of the big three,
Another addition to the family tree,
With the power to destroy the Olympian gods,
Shall be born against all odds,
Constantly on the run,
Shall be called The Lost One"
Zeus recites, with my reply "And how exactly is that not your fault?" "Look, we really should get going, you know, underworldly matters to attend to" Hades answers without actually answering my question "Yeah, I'm kinda the ruler of the cosmos" Zeus adds "And I've just gotta go back to my merman acquaintances" Poseidon chuckles as all three disappear in unison, leaving us pondering and speechless as to what just happened.
