We Sit Around A Fire, Chiron Tells Us Some Stuff And People Come And Disagree

At the campfire we usually just sit and talk for about an hour until we go to bed and sometimes an instructor or god comes and tells us something important or claims someone like Poseidon did to Cato- he showed up at the campfire one night about 3 years ago, pointed to Cato, said 'he's mine' and disappeared in an orb of water that evaporated supernaturally quickly- as a god does, "So, who do you guys think is going on the quest?" Sarah asks "We don't know but we're assuming it's Mia" Daniel replies. As this conversation is taking place Chiron is walking to the front of the campfire which is where my friends and I always sit, "Today, a prophecy has been given by the oracle meaning there is a quest is to be given" Chiron announced and now everyone is listening " The quest will be given to... Michael Young, son of Janus" there was applause and then "You can't do that!" "You know you can't do that" another interjects and in that moment Michael sits down, a wise choice from my perspective "Excuse my brothers actions but they are right, you cannot do that" and before me, are Poseidon, Zeus and Hades, the three brothers, the rulers of mankind- dead and alive, but what are they doing here? Chiron asks the same question but aloud. "We're here to tell you that you know exactly who should be going on the quest!" Hades points in my direction, "Okay, you're right" Chiron admits "Mia please stand up" he says finally, I stand up quietly, quite perturbed as to what was taking place "There we go!" Poseidon exclaims and disappears with style in the orb of water I was talking about before. "Yeah, my work here is done too" Hades grunts and disappears into void of darkness and I feel a small extra bit of mass weighing me down I look at my necklace and there is a new charm forged into the necklace, as though it's always been there is Hades' pitchfork which I assume has magical properties as the trident allows me to think of any weapon and it appears in my hands- like the accio spell from Harry Potter except it comes a lot faster. "Again, sorry about Poseidon and Hades, but I must admit they are right" and with that he disappeared in a blast of lightning and I look down at my necklace and see Zeus' lightning bolt etched into the trident and pitchfork, I look closely and see that the necklace has a faint glow to it. "Mia" I turn my head towards the source of the noise a little too fast, Chiron is speaking, "Please pick two people to accompany you on your quest" I'm overwhelmed with excitement "Cato Green and Daniel Angel" I say loudly, both stand up in unison with wide grins on their faces "Are you willing to risk your lives for the good of this quest?" "I am" we all say together, there's a roar of applause.
