Heyyy. Twenty more chapters left of this story😳😭 I'm gonna miss you guys. But don't worry! I've already started writing the sequel! I can't tell you anything about it because that would give so much away. But I already love it, so Ik you guys will❤️
I sit in the back seat of Ryan's car next to Isabella. I'm crying hysterically, while Isabella's trying to calm me down. "Do you want ice cream?" Ryan asks nervously.
Why would I want ice cream?! "Ice cream can't fix a broken heart." I say, putting my head down on my knees. He turns around to look at me, but I point back to the road. "Keep your eyes on the road." I sniffle.
"You want any type of food?" He asks. "Greasy, fattening foods?" He smiles, turning into a Five Guys parking lot. I glare at him, making his eyes widen. I've never seen Ryan so stressed out.
"I don't know what to do!" He yells at the sky, dropping his head onto the steering wheel. "Isabella, feel free to help me out." He suggests, glaring at Izzy.
"Alex." She soothes. "It's going to be okay." She whispers, hugging me.
"But he cheated on me." I sniffle, trying to stop my crying. "I just don't understand why he'd cheat on me with Charlotte."
"Sometimes people do shitty things, and there's nothing you can do about it. You just need to suck it up and move on." She says, pulling away from me. "As Rafiki says, it's in the past." She finishes, pulling a strand of hair away from my face.
I'm finally able to stop crying, but it still doesn't make the pain go away. "I hate Charlotte. I want her dead." I whisper, feeling anger take over me. "If I ever see her again, I'll kill her." I finish.
I can't explain the betrayal that sits on my shoulders like bricks. She was my sister, I protected her and she protected me. I thought we could count on each other. I thought I could still have a small piece of my family, but I guess I was wrong.
"I'd be glad to help." Ryan adds, causing me to laugh.
"I could hide the body." Isabella laughs, causing us all to laugh.
"I love you guys." I say, feeling my stomach growl. "But I think I love Five Guys more."
Finishing my last fry, I let out a content sigh. "I feel better." I say, smiling a bit. Ryan sighs in relief. "Thank goodness. I'm not good with crying women." He says, shuddering.
"I don't know if you're actually good at anything." I tease, pretending to think.
"Actually I'm good at a lot of things." He says. "For example: my good looks." I snort, throwing my trash away.
"Yeah. Tell that to the fat on your stomach." I retort, earning a laugh from Isabella.
"These?" He asks lifting up his shirt. "Are a pair of perfectly crafted abs." He finishes, and I hate to admit it, but his abs are really nice. I mutter a few not so nice words, before we walk out. "What was that? I couldn't hear you." He says, leaning in closer to me.
I cross my arms, ignoring him. "We should go do something." Isabella says.
"Like what?" I ask.
"We could go to the lake." Ryan suggests, looking at us. Isabella and I both shrug. "Sure, why not?" She says. "Let's go." We hop in the car and head off to the lake.
It's a short ride to the lake, or at least that's how it felt. Most of the time was spent jamming out and occasionally making fun of Ryan.
We finally arrive at the lake, finally realizing we won't be doing much swimming. We don't really have any swim suits...but we did find a volleyball. "I bet I can kick both of your asses." Ryan challenges, walking to the other side of the vollleyball net.
