REYNA STROLLED INTO Sebastian's hospital room, a tray of Starbucks in one hand and a bag of food from McDonald's in the other. Sebastian had grown tired of eating hospital food and drinking water, so he had practically begged Reyna to go out and get him something. It took about ten minutes to actually convince her to do so, as her motivation to do anything, let alone leave, was at an all time low. She had done nothing but sit at the hospital with Sebastian for the better part of two weeks, and doing something other than that almost seemed foreign to her.
"Here you go, loser," Reyna greeted him as she neared his bedside table.
Sebastian looked over at her, his eyes brightening at the sight of the Starbucks and McDonald's in her hands. "Oh my gosh. Thank you," he said as he took the bag from her.
Reyna sat his tea down on his bedside table before taking her drink and taking a seat in her normal spot beside his bed. "I better not get in trouble for bringing you that shit," she said as she sipped her iced coffee.
"YOLO," Sebastian said with a mouth full of fries.
Reyna's face contorted at the phrase, and she tightened her grip around her cup. "Yeah, you of all people should know just how true that phrase is."
Sebastian stopped eating and looked at her, a frown falling onto his face when he realized just how horribly what he said must have effected her. "I'm sorry."
"It's okay," Reyna assured him with a shake of her head.
"It's not," Sebastian sighed and continued eating his fries, "I shouldn't have went that far with the drinking."
Reyna looked over at him. "I understand why you did it, Sebastian, I do, but I just wish you wouldn't have. It's quite the understatement to say that these last couple of weeks have been the most agonizing of my life."
"Yeah, I know. I didn't mean for any of this to happen, and I'm sorry," Sebastian replied.
"I know you didn't—it's okay. You're okay, and that's all that matters to me," Reyna told him.
"How's Margarita doing?" Sebastian asked. "I haven't seen her here yet."
Reyna shrugged and took another sip of her drink. "I talked to her a couple days before you woke up. I'd say she's still pretty upset about the whole thing, but she has every right to be. She's been here to visit you multiple times as well, and she told me she would be here now if her family hadn't dragged her away on vacation."
"Vacation sounds nice," Sebastian murmured, pulling out his Big Mac.
Reyna smiled and reached over to grab one of his french fries. "We could go if we didn't have to start bodily preparations for Avengers, pal."
"You have to start bodily preparations for Avengers," Sebastian scoffed. "I'm perfectly in shape."
"Says the man who's been laying in a hospital bed doing nothing but sleeping for two weeks," Reyna retorted with a small laugh.
Sebastian gave her a look. "Well, Bucky's in cryostasis anyway. He's gonna look the same when he comes out as he did when he went in, so I think I'm good."
"You're such a smartass," Reyna giggled.
Sebastian couldn't help but smile at the sound of it. "If being a smartass means I get to hear that beautiful laugh, I'll be one more often."
Reyna didn't have the time to answer him before Chris and Anthony burst through the door, Anthony's loud voice startling them both slightly.
"What's up, sluts?" he exclaimed as he walked over to Sebastian, grabbing the half-eaten carton of fries from his hand.
"We're in a hospital, Anthony," Reyna scolded him as she snatched the carton and handed it back to a frowning Sebastian.
Chris shook his head as he took his place at the foot of Sebastian's bed. "You know he doesn't care."
"Unfortunately."
"What are you guys doing here?" Sebastian asked as he took a bite of his sandwich.
Anthony gave him a look and sat down on his bed. "We've been here for two weeks, buddy; we just go home periodically unlike some people."
"Bite me, Mackie," Reyna scoffed, earning a laugh from Anthony.
"Anyway," Chris started, grabbing Sebastian's foot and giving it a squeeze. "We're here to let you know that they're releasing you within the next day or so."
Sebastian let out a sigh of relief. "Thank god; I can't stand being here any longer."
"Hey, this is actually a nice hospital," Anthony chimed as he looked around the room.
"Reyna's apartment is nicer."
Reyna shook her head. "Not at the moment it's not."
"I'm sorry, I'll clean it up," Sebastian chuckled.
"You better."
"Right now, however, you need to get on Twitter or Instagram or something and let your fans know what's been going on and how you're doing," Anthony said as he grabbed Sebastian's phone from his bedside table. "I just got off of Twitter and they're all going crazy because you've been awake for four days now, yet no one has heard anything from you yourself."
Sebastian frowned and took his phone. "They must be so upset."
"And relieved all the same," Chris told him. "They just miss you, Seb."
"Yeah, I miss their dorky asses, too."
"Then tell them that, Seabass," Anthony instructed him.
"I will."
