I know this is late. I am sorry.
I was at my friends house, my friend is genderfluid and Pan, I remember I was on Facebook. I scrolled and something caught my eyes "MASS SHOOTING AT GAY BAR IN FLORDIA"
I remember all I thought was "oh dear god no...." I clicked it and there it was. A article talking about the shooting. I just remember feeling numb. I don't know why, but it start hurting.
I thought "Why can't they leave us alone?????!"
"What did we do?"
I started crying I guess and my friend asked what's wrong.
I told her about the shooting. She told her mom about it. I couldn't stop crying because..... That could of been us in the future......... We don't have the future we deserve. We as teens in the LGBTQ community shouldn't have to be scared of growing up and being shot. We should not have to be 2 13 years old sitting in a room kneeling around a phone, crying because the world doesn't love us............ We should never have to see 49 innocent lives ripped away......
We Are human.
Please, please.
