Lydia smiled at Matt, "Thank you." She took the glass that he had just placed down as she took a gulp of it. She sighed running her hands through her hair, she was frustrated about the fact that the person that was in the coffin, who turned out to be Esther, the original mother, who had decided she wanted to be a family again with Klaus.Which means that the anti-original gang didn't have a plan anymore.
"You seem tense, may I ask why?"
Lydia sighed hearing a British accent, turning her head glancing at the new company who had taken the seat next to her. Her eyes scanned his face, he was most definitely a original, she remembered him from last night.
"Just your evil family." She spoke up, he smirked. "Yes, we can be quite evil. But I like to believe it's our best quality.. Kol Mikaelson, we met before but you don't remember." He said bluntly. "And before you start begging me, I'm under the rules that I cannot speak about it."
"Then why'd you bring it up." She growled, her grip tightening on the glass.
"Sorry, darling. You know, if it were up to me, I'd tell you." He smirked leaning on the bar.
Lydia narrowed her eyes at him, "I have a feeling you don't follow rules very well? Considering you've been daggered for so long I assume you did something bad that upsetted Klaus?" She asked.
He chuckled, his eyes never leaving hers. "I guess you can say, I tried to take what was his. He wasn't to thrilled about it."
"Interesting."
"You knew my family for a while, that's until your memories had gotten erased." Kol finally told her something, even though she already assumed that, it was still more than anyone gave her.
Striking her attention, she gave him her full attention. "How'd I get them erased? Did one of you compel me to forget?"
"No. Not at all.. You had a run in with some witches who didn't like my family very well." Kol trailed off. He didn't know exactly how to explain it, the only person who could actually tell Lydia the truth was Lydia herself, she was there. "You know, I'd love to tell you more-"
"What do you want?" Lydia rolling her eyes. She saw this coming from a mile away.
"Join me. My family is throwing a ball this evening, I'd love for you to be my date."
"Why?" She questioned, not expecting that type of negotiation. "Klaus daggered me, I'd like to make him a little more miserable." He answered, somewhat honestly.
"Why does Klaus care so damn much?" She questioned.
"I'll tell you at the ball. Till then, darling." He smirked leaving the grill.
-Lydia walked out of the grill after having a few more drinks once Kol left. She decided she would go to the ball. It was the only way she could find out the truth.
Lydia walked down the street when someone came to her side walking with her. Without even looking, Lydia knew who. "What do you want, puppy?"
"Puppy?" Klaus spoke up, "Well, I'd like to refer to myself as an alpha male."
Lydia stopped, turning around facing him. "What do you want?"
"My family is having a ball this evening-"
"I know." She nodded interrupting him. "I'm your brother's date."
Klaus' clenched his jaw. "Kol, I assume." Lydia nodded slightly, not understanding their brother feud but she didn't really care. She dropped her arms that were crossed on her chest.
