It was 2:00 P.M. now. Turns out when I was at Calum's, Sam took Alex out to the park and walked Rusty. She was a pretty good babysitter.

"I put Alex to sleep," Sam bragged

"Here's your money," I handed Sam 20 dollars.

"Thanks," she practically ripped it out of my hand. "Well I'm going now, if you need me to babysit, call me again. I do need the money."

"Okay," I responded as I picked at my hair.

"But where did you go" she stood in front of me with her hands on her hips.

"Briana's house," I covered up, "where do you think?"

"Oh I thought you had a date or something, that's what Alex said," Sam commented. Shit I hope she doesn't know who with.

"Nooooo," I said with a weird face like she accused me of something I would never do.

"Oh come I know it was a date" Sam hissed sharply. Is she trying to crack me?

But I gave in because it got annoying, "fine it was a date.."

Sam let out a scream, "oh my god who?!"

Why is she getting trying to get into my love life?

Me and Sam are cousins but it's like everyone favors her more. Most of my family picks her over me, and I was sick of it. If my family knew how stubborn and irritating she could really be. But why did she have to be mean to me, and only me?

"No one," I coughed hard and started my way up the stairs to my room, "what's it to you?"

"Fine but what if I tell your parents about that time you nearly got arrested in San Diego," Sam replied, her arms crossed. She did have some dirt on me which I loathed.

I immediately stopped in my tracks, standing on the first step, and turned around with big eyes.
"You wouldn't!" I barked at her.

Sam took out her phone and started tapping on it. She dangled it in front of her, "watch me."

Before she could finish dialing, I shouted "Calum Hood, okay!"

"Who the hell is that" she asked in confusion, her face sour.

"Exactly," I said. Hopefully she won't search him up. "Don't even bother looking him up."

"I will!"

I rolled my eyes at her, "you can leave now."

The thing with Sam is that she didn't take me seriously. She just brushes off my rude behavior.

She made her way to the front door, "fine bye," she waved.

Thank god she left.

I went up to my room and laid on the bed, such a long day I thought. I need to unwind with some tea. But I was too lazy to make some, typical me.

*ding* I heard my phone buzz. It was a text from Luke.

Luke: you still at Calum's?

Me: nah I'm home now

Luke: good, we need Rachel and Luke talk time :-)

Me: haha okay Luke, come over in half an hour!

Luke: alright!

It was 2:30 now. My parents would be home in an hour. I think they'd be okay with Luke coming over since we've been friends since forever. Before the move, me and Luke used to be at each other's houses every weekend. When we were in diapers, play dates! Before my mom even told Luke's mom, Liz, that'd they want us to get married! Our parents always teased us about us getting to together, but we'd just laugh it off like always.

I decided that I'd just chill on my bed before Luke came over. I grabbed my Beats and plugged them into my phone. I was in my own little world now.

It was peaceful for 20 minutes until my phone rang. Try Hard filled my ears. Luke rang.

"Hello?" I answered.

Luke coughed. "I'm outside loser!"

I laughed. Me and Luke have a brother sister type of friendship. "Just walk in idiot" I joked.
