Calum. Speak of the devil, it was him. It was actually him.

I put my hand over my mouth to prevent any screams. "BRIANA, IT'S CALUM!" I said, muffled and too excited. Moments ago, he made me feel sad because I thought he was mad but I guess he wasn't. Just busy.

Calum: Heya beautiful! :) x

Calum: We still on for Thursday? You're going down Miles!!

"WHAT RACHEL?" She looked worried, her face growing pale. There was this one time where I freaked her out badly, or practically scarred her, with what she dubbed was my 'horror movie scream.' We were just watching YouTube videos one day at Kam's house and the videos weren't creepy, just the realization I had. It had to do something with One Direction, Larry proof videos or something.

I removed my hand and took in a big breathe, "I.. Well.. Calum.. CALUM TEXTED!"

Her plate went flying out of her hands, and ended up landing in front of the TV. Thank gosh it was paper. "HOLY SHIT RACHEL! WHAT DID HE SAY??!" Briana was peering over my shoulder, trying to read the texts.

I showed her and read aloud, "'Heya beautiful!' with a smiley face and kiss, and 'We still on for Thursday? You're going down Miles!!'"

"RACHEL OH MY GOSH! HE CALLED YOU BEAUTIFUL AND SAID YOU WERE GOING DOWN, THAT'S ADORABLE!" Her excitement got me even more excited.

"HE DID AW, I NEED TO TEXT HIM BACK FAST BECAUSE HE TEXTED ME AT 3:30 P.M." Yes, I keep track of time and how many minutes it takes for someone to text back. Who doesn't?

"CRAP THAT WAS 17 MINUTES AGO, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO SAY BACK?" I usually don't know what to text back, especially if it was a guy I played a certain liking to, so I turn to friends for help. I just don't want to risk being an embarrassment.

"I DON'T KNOW, HELP ME!" I yelped, shaking my hands in front of her face.

Briana was silent for a minute, thinking. "SAY HEY BACK AND YES, THAT YOU'RE STILL ON FOR THURSDAY!"

I was typing as she spoke, "Anything else?"

"Yeah, tease him, flirt with him to let him know you still like him, god I don't even know." Bri got up and picked up her plate to throw away Thankfully there was no sauce left over, it would've been a mess.

Tease him, flirt with him, echoed, ringing in my mind. Took me just seconds to come up with something then I finished typing the text. It wasn't too long but not too short either. I just hope it isn't too much. I'm pretty weird when texting boys, well, because I barely do it. I guess Luke counts, but he's Luke, one of my best friends, nothing more. I just call him 'loser' and 'idiot' frequently, he's like a brother.

Me: Heyyy Cal! I'm still up for Thursday! And you think wrong bc well I'll be taking you down Hood! ;)

I proceeded to show Briana. By the looks of it, she nodded in approval of my message.

"Send it, 3 y's means business." She smirked out of satisfaction. She took out her phone and started dabbling with her fingers. Probably texting.

"Signed, sealed and delivered!" I said confidently. Now time for me to play the waiting game.

Her phone still had her full attention, "I think the winky face was a nice touch."

I giggled, "Yup!" I impatiently waited for his reply but in my peripheral vision, I saw Briana smiling down at her phone. This can only mean one thing.

Time to focus on Briana.. "So, texting anyone special?" I playfully winked at her. Her face started reddening, which means she is.

I punched her slightly, "BRIANA WHO? IS IT LUKE?"
