Wolf

Wolf wrapped in sheep skin

Demure docile doe

Give you my softest touch

Sugar kisses to go.

Feel like a shepherd

Lead me on your merry way

I'll follow

Keep company

Dewy pastures under our toe.

Lend you my woolen coat

When cold freezes your shoulder blade

Cuddle you with warmth

And comfort of a summer day.

But if you dare try

Taking away my share of the blanket

Leaving me in cold

Sheets to wither away,

If you never give back,

If you lead me astray.

Be warned, my darling

There is only so much

White fleece.

Once all the wool has been ripped off

Raw and bare I lie,

Sharp fur over sinew waves

Fangs glint

Killer

Under the moonlight,

The wolf comes out to play.
