~Chloe's P.O.V.

"I'm back!" I shouted, pausing to see if anyone else had answered but of course, no one did. "Seriously?" I grumbled as I walked towards the leaving room, slouching as I went.

"Ruby?"

Nope.

"Dad?"

Nada.

So I had the whole house to myself again? Great... Sarcasm implied.

I placed my bag on the couch quietly, deciding on getting a quick snack before going upstairs to my room. I jogged lightly towards the kitchen, ruffling through the cabinets and fridge in search of something small yet yummy.

Looking around anxiously, my brown gaze lands on something shinny in the corner of the kitchen counter. I went rigid, licking my lips in hunger. Could it be? I think... I saw... A golden bronze wrapper... With the word TWIX written in bold red letters. My eyes lit up.

CHOCOLATE!

Oh. Aren't I lucky?

Right away, I stretched out my hand, took a few and popped one in my mouth, immediately savoring the delicious caramel chocolaty delight melting on my tongue. After eating another mini bar of Twix, I grabbed a couple more and stuffed them in my pocket for later on.

God I love Twix. They were my babies. If I could, I would marry them - and that's no fucking lie. Twix is my life! Okay I'm sounding a bit insane now, oops. I should stop... Ya Chloe you should.

Ha. And now I'm talking to myself, wonderful.

"Chloe?"

I licked my lips, wiping off any excess chocolate on my face. Ruby? Was that her? "Ya, in here!"

"Yay you're home! I missed you!" My older sister whined as she found me exactly where I stood for the past three minutes. We hugged and pulled away with similar smiles. "How was the date with Scott?" She asked while wiggling her eyebrows at me.

I groaned, "Natalie told you didn't she?"

"Mhmm, of course! So how was it?"

I shrugged my shoulders, "He's nice and all-"

"But..?" She prompted, not letting me finish.

"But we're just friends."

"And you're okay with that?"

I nodded, "Yeah I'm fine with it. I'm not in love with Scott."

"...because you're in love with Luke Hemmings, am I right?"

That earned an eye roll from me. "Where do you hear all this gossip from Ruby?"

She grins, "I got my sources! But it's mainly Natalie."

No surprise there, I mumbled.

Ruby continued pushing the topic, "So?" I gave her a blank stare and she added, "You and Luke... Is it true? Is there any feelings between the both of you?" She teased good-hearted and despite not quite wanting to answer, I blushed which about ruined everything.
