First Person POV
"Thank you... Creator of Binoculars! For this amazing invention to see things from far away!" I praised my binoculars as I was spying on Cinder and friends
"I'm watching... I'm the Day Night Stalker" I said as I relocated to a better view
"But really though, I'm not that stupid" I said as I kicked behind me without looking back, I felt it connect
"Sneaking up on me isn't good you know" I said as I looked at Emerald
"And being alone is worst" I said as I placed a collar on her
"W- what is this?" She asked while grasping the collar
"The same collar you placed on me, I had it remade" I said with a smile as I carried her over my shoulders, she was struggling
"If you don't calm down and stay still, I'll break your bones" I said as I looked back at her, she stayed still as I carried her to Ozpin's room
"Plan to get information?" She asked with a smirk as I let her down to a chair before looking at Ozpin
"You know what I need" I said as he just nodded and hesitantly gave me a syringe filled with truth serum
"Things will go easy for you, ain't that nice?" I said to her with a smile as she just remained silent while looking at the syringe
"Don't worry, this'll only make you honest" I said to her as I injected it at her neck and emptied it
"Just so you know, we can accept you in here more as a person rather than a pawn" I said to her, she looks at me confused
"I can overlook your part in killing Amber, but sadly if you wish to destroy this peace... Then that's a different story" I said to her while containing my insanity
"Heh... What do you know about being a pawn? Someone like you who has lived free their whole life doesn't know anything about being thrown away..." She complained
"Still resisting the serum? Interesting" I said as I looked at her
"I don't know jack about being a pawn, even when I'm the King. I don't care about being thrown away, life's just a series of ups and downs" I said to her
"But I can't say that I've really lived free... Being a protagonist is hard too, you know. Being wise and strong in front of everyone is hard too, but being a protag is harsh in reality" I said to her as Ozpin looks at me like I'm a fool
"Other than that, what are Cinder's plan?" I asked her, she flinched a bit and fighted back the urge to answer my question
"W- we plan to destroy Vale by using two dragons and overrun it with grimm..." She answered
"Thank you, that's all the assurance I need" I said to her
"That was pretty short" Ozpin said as he watched me drag Emerald away
"I don't feel like taking things the long way today" I said to him as I went to the currently empty cafeteria
"Take your pick, it's my treat" I said to her as she looked at me dumbfounded
"Look at the food you want, unless you want me. But I have Glynda and I plan to only have her in my heart" I said to her as she blushed a bit and looked at the food
"I'll just take whatever you're having" She said as I ordered my F/F
"T- thank you... But why?" She asked as we sat down on one of the chairs facing against each other
"I guess you couls say this is thanks for getting caught and complying, even if it was forced" I said to her as I took a bute of my food
"I see..." She just said as we each ate until we were finished
"You're free to go now, go to Cinder if you want to, we'll be welcoming you here with open arms if you ever wish to join us even if we are midway through the school year" I said to her as she was hesistating to say something
"C- can I really join? Won't people be disgusted at me for being a petty slave for someone?" She asked me worriedly
"Everyone is free to join. I mean, even I was accepted here and people treat me all the same, don't be afraid to tell people who you really are" I said to her
"Won't I only gain enemies if I told who I really am?" She asked me, I looked at her and smiled
"True. But won't it feel good if you can show them that you've changed and prove that you're better than them? Like I said before, life's a series of ups and downs, if it doesn't have any then you're probably dead" I said to her, she giggled a bit before we stood up
"Then I shall join, Professor (F/N)" She said, I chuckled a bit and reached out my hand, she hesitated for a bit but shook it soon after
"Welcome to Beacon, Ms. Emerald" I said with a smile as we broke the handshake and left, we each went to our own way
"Go to Ozpin first, you might get something rather useful" I said before we completely parted
"One less enemy to fight, and one new comrade to teach and befriend" I thought as I looked up at the cloudy skies
"I've missed all the matches... My student's are gonna kill me for this... Or probably just yell at me and complain..." I thought as I was just walking randomly before heading back to the dorm
"I wonder what happened over there? I hope our students win" I thought as I went in my room
"And I hope that I get to cripple Cinder's faction a lot more... Before I confront Salem..." I thought as I closed my eyes
"Because the time is nearing from a long run" I thought before I fell asleep
