"Paulie!" John scooped him up with a laugh. "How you been?"
"Great! Say, wanna see the new song I'm writing?" Paul asked hopefully.
"You know I do!" He dragged him over to his couch. "Lemme see!"
"Hold on, hold on!" He started handing him the paper.
"Nonononono, sing it to me!"

"Nah, it's not that good." Paul waved him off.
"It is, though!" He jumped up so fast that he splashed his wine on Paul's shirt.
"Johnnn!" he whined.
"Shit, sorry! Hang on!" John ran upstairs, coming back with a clean shirt. "Here, change into this."
"Thanks!" Paul ran up to his room quickly.
"Good job, Lennon," he scolded himself. "Why'd you have to do that?" He went upstairs, stopping at his door. "Poor Paulie, having to deal with me all the time. Hey, Paulie!" He knocked once before opening the door. "I meant what I said, I really am sorr..." He trailed off.
He jumped, wide-eyed. He quickly covered his chest, but it was too late. "J - John?"
"Paul, you're..." John opened and closed his mouth. "You're a bird?"
