I woke up, sweet vanilla and cherries filling my nosetrills. A smile lifted my lips as I realized I had Vanessa wrapped in my arms. Glancing over her shoulder, I noted my alarm clock.
6:35 p.m.
We had slept through the day. I heard Vanessa mumble something in her sleep and I grinned.
I kissed the beginning of her neck as her long eye lashes fluttered. She turned her head to face me.
"Hey," she said, smiling.
"That was a good start for a lazy day, sleeping through it." I whispered, pecking her lips. She had seemed surprised at the sudden action and I chuckled lightly. I pulled away gently and sat up straight.
"I think I should go home. I don't want mom to get worried." She said.
"I'll drive you, then." I groaned.
She giggled, "I'll be back before you know it." She whispered in my ear, her breath warm, sending shivers through my body.
She got out of bed, slipped into her sneakers and stood by the mirror, pulling her beautiful auburn hair, that I had grown to love, in a messy bun.
As I stared at her, I felt something. I sat still for a moment then shook my head slowly.

Then I felt it again, the shiver. But it hadn't been Vanessa to cause it this time, it was - me.

I shuddered, tried breathing in and out calmly.

This wasn't the time to go weak. Vanessa turned to me and I held my gaze away, not wanting her to sense my vulnerability. "I'm ready," she said.
I smiled weakly and stood up, but my legs failed me and I felt my knees go weaker, unable to hold my own balance, I leaned against the mattress and put the pressure on one hand to steady myself.

"Cameron?" I heard her say, but all I could do is focus on my breath that was crossing ten thousand miles per second.

"I'm ready," I told Cameron. His head snapped towards me at the sound of my voice and he smiled weakly. I wondered if he was upset with me for leaving, and I thought about offering myself to stay. I started to say something when he stood up, but in an instant, stumbled, losing his balance and reaching for the bed for help.

"Cameron?" I heard my voice coming out, trembling.

His breath wasn't normal, instead it was becoming heavier and heavier each time he inhaled. My hands reached up for his shoulders and I moved him away from the bed for some reason and pinned him against the wall. He held on to his dresser.

"Cameron, look at me." I said, showing some demand in my voice.

He did so, his eyes breaking into mine.

"Breath, Cameron. Just don't think about anything else." I soothed his cheek, and ran my fingers through his messy dirty blond hair.

He smiled again, this time inhaling less sharply than the time before, "It's alright, I.. I just slept a lot." He uttered.

I nodded, then placed a soft kiss on his lips. His kiss came back at me, pulling me into the moment. His hands cupped my face, and the distance between us had been sealed. His tongue begged for entrance and I parted my lips, gladly and savoring the pleasure. His cologne mixed with my cherry shampoo scent as I wrapped my arms around his neck and tip-toed to deepen the kiss. He bit my lower lip and nipped it playfully.
His kisses trailed to my jaw and down to my neck and I found myself tugging at his hair, earning a slight moan from him and it was the most beautiful sound I've ever heard.

"Baby, if you keep doing this to me, your mother is going to be waiting for a very long time," he whispered in my neck, making me shiver.

I blushed, letting go of him and fighting back a smile.

He chuckled and pecked my cheek.

"Let's get you home." He said.

Little did he know that he was home for me.
