Day two was going great. My Discussion Group was wonderful so far. Drew was in it with me and sat beside me. Breakfast was a plate of fresh scrambled eggs, juicy sausage, the best bacon you could ever taste, and a whole mix of drinks that you could choose from. Now, it was free time. 3 hours of free time. However.. It was raining. The pool, the paint war, and the slides would be postponed until tomorrow. The pond and the swings were open, not stopping anyone from enjoying some free time.
After some precious alone time on the swings and a new song written, I decided to join plenty of others who were already wanting to kayak. I waited, anxiously. Finally, a familiar face began to make a beeline toward the dock. This just so happened to be my friend Zech. However, his attempts were failing. He was paddling too much to the left side. When he realized his mistake, he overcorrected. Moments later, his kayak flipped over on top of him, leaving him soaked in the water.
I couldn't help but laugh because of the goofy face he gave while trying to get back up. Finally, he reached the dock, giving his signature victory dance, the chainsaw.
Not a moment too soon came Drew to my rescue. However, he was not in front... He was behind me with an evil plan. Without giving me a chance to think, he threw me into the water, jumping in right after me. With this, we began the water fight. I began with a splash into his face, causing him to send more into mine. I then waited for the perfect moment to try to push him down. However, this failed when I realized he had almost perfect balance. I soon figured out that I needed to wait until he was not looking at me.
Just as I was about to push him in, I gave him a smile, looking into his eyes.
You, sir, are attractive, but if you want a challenge I can give you one.
With that, I pushed him right in, not realizing he had my hand. He immediately returned the favor, pulling me down on top of him.
What do I do? I'm at church camp. I can't just kiss him. I know he wouldn't want me to.. I shouldn't.
After a moment of laughing, we both got up. We didn't realize it then, but we had just had our first moment. Perhaps Elissa would lose after all?••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Hey, everyone! Does anyone else think his whole strategy is going to change? Will Beth be the one to change is mind? Will Elissa ever show? We will find out soon:)
