5. America and Awkwardness

(this is another short chapter but idk it just felt right. Enjoy 😊❤️)

"I've done it! Everything is done and booked and done!" I hear Dan exclaim from my laptop.

I quickly turn it around so it's facing me, ready to interrogate him.

"What's done? What have you planned, Daniel?" I demand.

Dan sits down next to Phil on their sofa and grins. His grin then slowly turns to confusion when he looks at the screen.

"Wait. Why are you outside?" He questions.

"Because your boyfriend forced me to go outside." I snap quickly, raising an eyebrow.

Dan looks at Phil in panic and then, flustered, he says, "What? He's not my boy-" I wiggle my eyebrows and Dan glares at me. "Oh."

I chuckle quietly. "Not your boyfriend yet."

Sam snorts but tries to cover it with a cough. When I look up at him he's shuffling from one foot to the other with Dean glaring at him.

"Shut up." Dan says nonchalantly.

"So," I say, trying to sound confident, "what have you done?"

Dan smirks. "Well," He claps, "you better get yourself organised Arianna Singer, because in two weeks we're coming to see you!"

I stare at the screen in shock. "You're coming to my house?" I say quietly.

Dan nods and grins. Both him and Phil look so excited. I don't know how to tell them that they can't come.

Hunts keep coming in thick and fast lately - what if I have to go on one? I mean, it rarely happens, but what if I have no choice. What if dad gets caught up with another hunt and I have to take his place alongside another hunter.

Don't get me wrong, I'm confident. I know I can solve the riddle, slay the dragon, save the princess. But I'm a bitch. I don't take any shit from any ignorant, idiotic, un-educated hunter.
