(just a quick warning - most of this chapter is puke on paper, sorry in advance 😁) (also, i just realised you're not reading this on paper. either way it's barf and i'm still really sorry - i hate it too)

Sam and I pull away from one another and glare at Dean.

"What? It's just that Sam has a massive crush on-" Dean starts.

Sam punches him in the stomach, just light enough to make him stop talking and then finishes Dean's sentence.

"Jennifer Lawrence! I just r-really like Jennifer Lawrence." He finishes.

Dan pipes up at the mention of J-Law. "I like her too! She was so cool as Katniss!" He recalls.

Sam coughs nervously and I raise an eyebrow, amazed at the fact that Jennifer Lawrence might bring these two strangers together.

"Yeah, um, she was great." Sam smiles, looking at his feet.

"Have you seen any of her other films?" Dan asks Sam.

Sam shuffles from foot to foot, still looking a the ground and answers, "N-no. Not yet."

Dan sighs, "Oh well, never mind. I certainly recommend them all." He tells Sam, smiling.

Sam looks up at the screen and smiles back at Dan.

Dean puts both of his arms out and grunts again. "Oh my god, seriously, is there anyone you're not gonna have a chick-flick moment with, dude?!" He puts a hand on his stomach and another over his mouth. "I think I just puked in my mouth a little."

"Shut up, Dean." Sam snaps, glaring at him. "Let me have a moment. I'm being social. Maybe you should try it sometime?" Sam retorts.

Damn.

Dean just scoffs and crosses his arms. I guess they argue a lot. They are brothers. Isn't that what siblings do?

"Hey, um, Sam." Phil breaks the silence. "We look forward to seeing you! I bet it'll be super fun! You and Dan can talk about Jennifer Lawrence for weeks." He laughs.

"Wait, how long are you staying for?" I ask, confused.

Weeks? I know I've missed them, but like I said, there are cases everywhere. At some point Sam and Dean are going to need to solve a few of them. I might even need to and there is no way in hell I'm leaving them alone in my house. I can't have anything happen to them.

"I bought one way tickets. It was all they had left." Dan responds. "Don't worry, we won't get in your way or anything."

Crap.

What the hell am I going to do? Dad doesn't even know they're coming yet? What if he doesn't want them here?

I search my brain for ways to tell them they have to buy a ticket home, but everything I think of has something to do with a supernatural creature.

Crap.

I'm just gonna have to find a way to keep them safe at the house.

I fake a smile and, feeling the hesitation in my voice, I reply, "That's great. That's fine. That's 100% a-okay." I breath deeply to try and calm myself but the breaths are choppy and shaky and I'm slightly worried that I might faint.
