You can bear the pain.
You can hide the scars with a smile.
You can pretend all you want.
But there will be a time in every warrior's life when they will look at the battle before them and say, "I can't do it." And in that moment, no matter how they look on the outside, they will die.
But life can be restored. So it is our job to pick those warriors up and breathe the breath of hope into their lungs.
It is our job to stop them from dying again, and stop others from dying in the first place. Because we are human just like them, and one day we will die too.
And when that happens we will need someone ourselves. And those same warriors we saved will save us.
