I woke up suddenly at about 10 at night. I went down stairs and I saw my brother and dad sitting on the couch watching TV.

"Hey Ray are you feeling better?" My brother asked.

"Yeah," I said smiling slightly. I sat down next to them and my dad smiled at me and my brother happily.

"I'm so glad you guys are here together. Your mom would be so proud of you both," He said smiling. I smiled slightly and looked down. My mom died when i was really little so i only have very faint memories of her, but my brother was 8 and remembered her; he was really confused. I was only 3. My dad brought me some food that he warmed up and we ate in silence as my dad was watching a baseball game. I was happy that my brother was home. I felt like he was the only one who really understood me. My dad decided to go to bed.

"How long are you staying?" I asked looking over at him.

"I don't know maybe for the week," he said sighing. I sighed also and we both decided it was getting late. He tucked me in and kissed my forehead. "I love you so much, okay," he said smiling. I nodded and smiled.

"I love you, too. Night, Caleb," I said as i slowly drifted back to sleep.

I woke up and Caleb said we were going to the mall. He had to wear his army pants since he didn't bring any other clothes. He got a shirt from dad though. My dad only had dressy pants for work. He got a bunch of looks from some thirsty girls at the mall and they looked at me with envy. I tried to point out that he was my brother as much as possible. We went to the food court. Caleb kept looking behing me constantly.

"Oh my god what are you looking at?" I said as I turned. There were a bunch of people so i couldn't make out any one specific.

"Nothing turn around, Raegan," He said sternly with a hint of embarassment. He never used my full name.

"Ok which girl is it?" I said smiling slightly. He ducked his head and red covered his cheeks.

"Umm red hair freckles," he said quietly. I turned and saw her. She was gorgeous. She was one of those unusually beautiful girls.

"She's pretty, Cub," I said using his nickname i had for him when we were younger. He groaned. "Why don't you go talk to her?" He looked up with wide eyes.

"What if she's in high school or something? She has one of those faces," He said running his hand through his hair. "Oh crap she's looking over here what do i do?" he said as he ducked his head.

"Just smile at her," I said laughing at him. He lifted his head a little and smiled at her.

"She's smiling back. I'm scared let's leave," he said nervously standing up. I laughed at him and got up. I threw away my food and thought this was the only meal I've fully eaten in maybe 2 weeks with out throwing up. I was pretty happy. We went into Dick's next to the food court. He looked at her again and we went in. He wanted to buy a couple of shorts since he didn't have any pants. He bought them and the girl of his dreams was walking by us. She looked at him then at me sadly. He looked confused then sad as she continued walking.

"Cub!" I said trying to get his attention.

"What?" he said annoyed.

"She thinks i'm your girlfriend," I said smiling slightly.

"What?" he said looking at me crazily.

"What brother goes to the mall with his little sister?" I said raising an eyebrow.

"An awesome one," he said smiling. I rolled my eyes.

"You're such an annoying brother," I said loudly. She didn't hear me. Then I had an idea! "Follow me," I said smiling as I dragged him along. We walked into forever 21 all girls loved this store if she didn't come in then she's crazy (I didn't like it very much awkward). She, as expected, walked in and locked eyes with my brother. They looked away from each other and my brother looked down then at me. "Okay you have to be like oh you're an annoying sister, ok because i'm dragging you around or something like that."
