Can You Save Me?

I woke up with a start and grabbed my head groaning.

"Reagan you have me a heart attack," I heard Annabelle's soothing voice say.

She wrapped her arms around me a little bit and kissed my forehead

"Here drink some water. I'll be right back," She said handing it to me and kissing my forehead again.

She came back with the nurse and made sure everything was okay with me. Annabelle was holding and kissing my hand while tears rolled down her cheeks. The nurse left us alone.

"I was so worried," She said looking into my eyes.

I couldn't find myself to say anything. We just say there with the sound of nothing, but Annabelle's cries.

"What's the date?" I asked in an annoying raspy voice.

"It's the 26th," She said.

I felt my heart sink. My mom died today. I wanted to scream at the top of my lungs, but i was almost frozen. I couldn't do anything, but let the silent tears pour out of my tired eyes.

Annabelle wiped my tears away and was comforting me. I felt like she was the only one that cared about me.

"Where's my dad?" I asked weakly.

"I don't know," She stuttered.

"Where is he?" I said louder.

"He said he couldn't deal with this and i got in an argument with him before he left," She said licking her lip and looking at me like she was sorry.

"It's fine, Annabelle," I said looking at her honestly.

We were told i could leave and we got into Annabelle's car and she drove me to my house.

"You're staying with me," She said looking over at me slightly.

I looked at her with a shocked expression on my face, but was happy.

"I love you too much," She muttered thinking i couldn't hear her.

But the truth was I loved her too.
