I walked out of my car and looked back at my brother and I bit my lip and knocked on the door. The jock that picked me to be on his team earlier in gym smiled and let me in.

"I don't think we formally met. I'm Marcus," he said smiling holding out a hand for me to shake. I smiled and shook it.

"Raegan." He was walking me through Sebastian's house and it was giant. He led me to the backyard and it was full of teenagers. The music was blasting very loud and the smell of alcohol was apparent in the air. I thanked Marcus when he walked away and I felt someone tap my shoulder.

I turned and saw Sebastian. He looked pretty hot. He was wearing dark jeans and a navy blue shirt.

"Hey I'm so glad you could make it," he said surprisingly pulling me into a hug. He smelled like flowers followed by a musky scent. He pulled away and smiled.

"Sorry I'm late," I said looking down slightly. He shrugged and smiled.

"You look so beautiful," he said smiling looking into my eyes. I almost believed him. I blushed slightly and I heard his screen door open. Since we were on the steps, I was right in the way. Someone stumbled into me and I saw Austin looking sweaty and a little drunk. Sebastian steadied me by putting his hand on my waist.

"Hey Austin are you ok," Sebastian said putting me behind him in a protective manner.

"Yeah," he said shrugging taking a drink of his beer grinning.

"Really?" Sebastian asked looking amused. "The party started less than an hour ago." Austin shrugged and took another drink of his beer. He waggled his eyebrows at a girl and waved at us before running towards her. I averted my attention back to Sebastian and he smiled.

"Do you want something to drink?" He asked smiling. I smiled and shrugged.

"Sure," I said. "Anything is fine." He walked off and I leaned against the wall. I was surprised when Sebastian came back with a Bud Light, but I didn't object. I opened it and took a small sip.

"Is that okay?" He asked.

"Yeah thanks," I said smiling. We were taking about some of our favorite things like he loved soccer and giraffes. I finished my beer and he quickly got us another one.

"So what sport or sports do you play?" He asked sipping his beer and raising his eyebrow.

"What makes you say that?" I said taking a sip also.

"In gym, you are amazing I mean today you beat the left guard on the varsity football team," he said with wide eyes.

"Well I only play softball," I said shrugging.

"Well you're an amazing athlete maybe better than me," he said cockily smirking at me.

"Ha I just like running drills I'm not into the weight lifting and arm muscle stuff," I said finishing my beer.

"I was just gonna show you my abs," he said tugging at the hem of his shirt.

"I meant I don't so those things," I said defensively. He chuckled and shook his head.

"I used to play baseball; what position do you play?" He asked.

"Catcher," I said grinning.

"Damn that's it," he said laughing. I joined him.

"What so you mean?" I said.

"Their job is hard: wearing all the gear, squatting forever, trying to get players out, and the list goes on and on," he said smiling. I shrugged.
