I woke up to my alarm and got dressed really quick. I was going to have gym today and I wasn't looking foreward to it. I put on a light pink sweater with black leggings and my grey converse. I saw my dad making breakfast and he smiled at me. I haven't seen him in a long time, but whenever I questioned where he's been he quickly changed the subject.
"Hey Dad," I said smiling.
"Goodmorning, Raegan," He said smiling placing a plate infront of me before i started devouring his delicious food. It was bacon, and blueberry pancakes. Something so casual he made so delicious.
"This is amazing as always," I said smiling. He chuckled and smiled.
"I remember when your mother moved into my apartment and she admitted she couldn't cook," He said chuckling sadly remembering she was gone. "I tried to help her, but she almost set the house on fire." He had one of the biggest smiles ever, I thought it was going to fall off. "I miss her, Raegan, everyday of my life," he said looking away.
"I know, Dad. I do, too," I said smiling slightly.
"She didn't deserve dying," he said angirly. He stormed out of the house with out another word. Her death anniversary was coming up next week and my dad always got very sad and angry. I put my plate in the sink and left for school. I had my first class with Sebastian so I was panicking a little bit. I pulled into the parking lot and saw Sebastian's car. I made sure I parked on the other side of the parking lot even though it was a longer walk. I got into the school and into class right on time. I walked in and looked around there were two empty seats. There was one next to Sebastian and one next to Austin. The other people were looking at me trying to figure out which one I took. I eventually grabbed the seat next to Austin. I looked at Sebastian out of the corner of my eye and quickly looked away when he looked back.
To say Sebastian looked like hell was an understatement. His lip was busted, he had a black eye and a bruise on his jaw, and his nose looked a little crooked.
I pulled out my notebook and pencil when our teacher said we were going to be taking notes. Austin passed a piece of paper towards me saying: hey what's going on with you and crabby over there? I looked over at him with wide eyes and wrote back angrily saying: aren't you friends? you should know!!! He gave me a confused look on his face before responding: no i'm not friends with him i mean he's alright. I looked into his eyes for hints of him lying, but he wasn't. I sighed and responded back to him: he's a jerk. He tried to get out of me what happened, but I wouldn't budge.
Class ended and Austin walked out behind me. It seemed as if he was follOwing new so I turned around angrily.
"What are you doing?" I asked putting my hands on my hips.
"Just tell me please," He said.
"Why do you care so much?" I asked him raising an eyebrow. He shrugged. "Why don't you go and ask the prick yourself?"
He seemed to be thinking about it and he eventually left. I went to my next class and this one I had only with Austin, but knowing he was talking to Sebastian he would probably be late.
Austin came in and sat next to me and looked a little irritated and/or annoyed. I passed him a note asking if he was okay and he put it aside for a while before scribbling something down and passing it back.
It said: That was a dick move. It was simple and to the point. I was about to write something back when he took it again from my hands adding something else and paying it back. He wrote: He didn't even tell me the truth first when I asked him what was wrong with his face. I looked at him surprised.
"Excuse me Ms. Thomas since you are paying do much attention to my lecture you wouldn't mind telling me why Romeo is exiled, would you?" Mr. Peters said smiling me out of my thoughts.
