our call this time wasn't video, like our first one. it was a voice call instead. mostly because it was two in the morning and i looked like i had just gotten electrocuted.
due to rules and security reasons, chanyeol was unable to give out his number to anyone besides friends and family, which is why he and i stuck to skype calls.
once he answered my call, we greeted each other, though his voice was grumpy due to his little jealousy rather than joyful, like mine. i began to make up and gather the words in my head which i planned to cheer him up with, and let him know that what i was doing was simply being friendly, not flirty. i took a deep breath and began. "okay, first, i wanna say that you're the only one i—"
"park chanyeol, you little fuck!" i heard a distant voice yell from the other line, which i recognized to be chen's voice.
"oh no," chanyeol breathed out, and seconds later, i heard the door swing open and i could almost feel the tension in their room.
"park chanyeol, why is my car's passenger seat pink?" chen asked chanyeol.
i pursed my lips and widened my eyes at the question. it was all my fault. whoops.
"i-i can explain!" chanyeol responded with nervousness in his voice. "it was... it was luhan!"
this fucking dumbass.
"lu—? what? chanyeol, what the hell?" i heard a sigh, which i figured must have been chen.
"it was his girlfriend," i heard baekhyun say, adding a cutesy tone to the word 'girlfriend.'
me calling myself chanyeol's girlfriend as a joke was one thing, but being referred to it by another exo member was another.
and chanyeol not arguing about it was another thing.
"his girlfriend?" chen questioned. "did she like, leak on my seat or something?"
"uh, yeah, kinda." chanyeol's voice was raspy and his words were out with hesitation.
chen sighed once more. "first, you're gonna either clean it up completely, or you're gonna buy me a new car. then, you're gonna tell me all about this girlfriend of yours, okay?"
