Previously on Redemption
Loud chants from the men were blurred out my the roaring sound of the motorcycle.
" WE WILL GET YOU BOY AND YOUR FATHER WILL PAY!" Was all I managed to decode from their frightening screams.

This mission was proving to be harder then any other mission, and everything was at stake.

Mr Davenports POV

" THIS IS RIDICULOUS. HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO FIND CHASE IF HIS GPS IS DISABLED?" I growl in frustration

It was currently 12:00am and all of us had been awake, busy working on trying to find Chase.
The tiredness was taking control of my body as my eyes began to drop in heaviness.

" OH COME ON!" Douglas cries, startling me from my tired state.
" I HAVE TRIED EVERY THING, HACKING PAST THE ENCRYPTION. Do you know how many passwords I've tried. I've guessed things like Smarty Bug, mission leader and smartest guy in the world!" Douglas exclaims, while counting on his fingers.
His face revealing every trace of frustration.

" Mr Davenport what are we going to do?" Bree asks concerned.
" I don't know but whatever we do we have to do it fast. Chase could be anywhere." I reply, the nerves slightly choking my words.

" Have you tried tracking his GPS signal" Adam asked completely oblivious
I roll my head in annoyance not bothering to waste my breath on him.
" Without anything to lead us with, it is almost impossible to track down where he may be. Big D, don't you see we can't do anything." Leo explains.

" HEY! We can't give up, Chase is out there risking his life and we just can't stand by doing nothing. We will just have to keep trying." I exclaim, sounding slightly more confident then I felt.

" Mr Davenport we should get some sleep. It's really late." Bree suggests while resting her hand on my shoulder.

" NO.WE HAVE TO KEEP LOOKING!" I cry in frustration
Bree is taken back by my sudden outburst as she stumbles back.
I release a heavy sigh, reminding myself that yelling is never the resolution.

" I'm sorry for yelling, I'm just worried. " I apologise, forcing me head into my hands
A gentle touch embraces me in a hug.
" We all are, but we will never be able to function if we are continually stressing and getting frustrated over this. Let's get some sleep, by the morning we will prepare a full plan" Bree explains.

" She's right BigD. We could all use some sleep." Leo says
I nod my head in agreement, knowing they were right.
" Ok, but as soon as we wake up we start devising a plan" I order, my voice rising in demand

They all nod in response, expressions of determination and seriousness plaster across their faces.
They all head off the their capsules while Douglas and I make our way for the exit.
"Lights out." I order, before the lights in the room dimmed down.

I glance over at the couch watching Leo sleep peacefully, while my eyes traced over to Adam and Bree. My eyes landed on Chase's capsule, remaining empty.
My heart dropped and instant regret washed over me.

" He will be fine Donny, Chase is smart he will get through this." Douglas comforts
" I hope your right." My voice choked out. Tears consuming my eyes while a heavy lump was stuck in my throat.
I glance at Chase's capsule once more before following Douglas to go gather some rest.
" Please be ok." I whisper

Chase's POV

I was currently resting at the floor of a large tree, gathering my breaths after a long treacherous pursuit. I managed to gain a lot of distance from the mission site and myself, and hopefully the large gang of thugs.

I slump my back against the rough distorted surface of the large tree, breathing in the cold, chilled air feeling a sense of relief flood through me.

So much had happened already and so far I had cracked nothing. The only clue I had gathered, was a broken device that just so happened to save my life.

The cold metal device rested within my hands while the wires spewed out of it.
I place my hand on the wire before getting slightly stung, from another wire. I shake my hand in pain before slamming my fist into the tree.

" This is hopeless" I mutter under my breath before smashing the device against the grassy surface.
I rest my head back in silence before the sound of a twig breaking causes me to break out of my hypnotised state.
I push the device into the pocket of my jacket instantly, thinking the thugs may have returned, before grabbing large stick resting next to me.

My eyes widen as my attention is immediately drawn to the thick forest.
My eyes scan across the distance of the forest revealing nothing but thick tree trunks and large bushes.
The darkest night appeared within the sky, while the smallest stars provided only a little rays of light. The full moon, raised within the centre of my sight, penetrated its light onto my face and into the dimly lite forest.

I slowly push myself onto my feet gaining a steady position.
" Hello." I cry into the distance gaining no response, but the echoing of my voice.

I steadied myself next to the daven cycle, preparing myself for any quick action that I may need to take.
Did the thugs find me? Was all that questioned through put my head.

Looking back on my decision, calling out into the forest, I realise how dumb that move was now.
My nerves slowly rise as another twig breaks, the cracking sound vaguely sounding through the forest, reaching my hearing.

I remain completely silent this time refusing to let a single word escape my lips.
A gust of wind begins to pick up, the chilled frosty air blowing through the trees.

A shiver is sent down my spine, hearing the sound of the leaves rustle against each other. Several leaves fall to the floor below my feet, my eyes continue to scan through the forest.

Nothing happened. Time froze, and only the frosty wind moved to the sound of the falling leaves. I begin to release the tension in my shoulders, after a long moment of silence. I drop the large stick to the side of my feet.

I begin to walk backwards towards the tree I was previously sitting under.
Suddenly the sound of another stick breaking startles me, causing the tension to return to my shoulders.
A deep growl consumed the space, echoing from behind me.

I turn myself around swiftly to face the source of the sound. The one creature I had been looking for this entire time. My eyes widen at the sight of it.
Its helmet revealing a rather large dent, from the last time I had seen it.
My breathing began to quicken in pace as the metallic creature looked down on me.
The exoskeleton had found me.

The battle begins at Dawn
