Yet my world was blinded in what felt like an eternal darkness, and only the muffled sounds of voices vaguely made it to my hearing.
What was this place which I was trapped in.
I didn't want to believe, yet it was true.

A coma.

Unknown POV

" That little Davenport brat just ruined everything. He just ruined our entire plan." I growl pounding my fists against the ice cold surface if the table.

" Dad we can still get them." My daughter says, her voice full of determination.
Several of the men surrounding me nodded in agreement.

" That bionic team is warning the rest of the Davenport family. We will strike on the island tonight!" I explain

" What about the boy?" My daughter questions
I shake my head.
" He is going to fix the exoskeleton once he wakes up." I cry

" And how do expect that to happen? Dad,  he is in a coma." My daughter explains. Her eyes gazing into mine as her hands motioned towards the lifeless body.

I chuckle at the sound of her concern.
" Please! I always have a plan. Is he secured?" I question.
The men circle around the boy, revealing his wrists tightly bound and his legs tied down to the chair.

I dig through my bag to reveal an electro magnetic pulse. One touch from this and he would surely wake up.
I march towards the youngest Davenport, raising the device in front of my face.

I rest it on his chest before a shock of lightning surges through the boy's body, jolting him awake.
His breathing was very heavy, and his eyes revealed traces of water trapped within them.

A smile emerges on my face watching in pleasure as the boy struggled.
" Hello Chase Davenport!"

Chase POV

The muffled voices beyond the outside world and the walls of my body, resembled the sound of mad maniac.
My body cringed and despite the darkness I saw from the lids of my eyes, I felt the warmth of my tears welding within them.
It was The only feeling I felt in a long time. My thoughts traced back to the battle against myself and the exoskeleton.
Every destroying flashback and memory crashed through the barriers of my thoughts. Yet through all of this I felt satisfaction.
I completed the mission, I defeated the exoskeleton, but at what cost.
Suddenly all the images seem to drift away. The voices from the outside world that sounded so distant, now sounded so loud and erupt. A sensation of a great force surges through my body as my eyes are forced open to reveal a dull room.

My breathing became very heavy, as my blood red eyes released the once trapped tears.
" Hello Chase Davenport" A voice snapped

My vision still blurred by the fallen tears, soon cleared to reveal the thug I met at the mission site and his gang.
" Wh..... Where a.. Am I?" I barely choke out, glancing around the room to reveal my hands and feet tightly bound.

" No where you need to know. " A  girl replied, emerging from the several men that shielded her.
Her black curls made her hard to miss, while her blood red lip stick made her look like a venomous  beauty.

A certain snake ring draped up her finger catching my attention.

I didn't bother beating around the bush, not with everything that had happened so far.
" What do you want from me?" I growl attempting to break my hands free.
The ropes only rubbed against my raw skin causing me to wince in pain.
