After the matches the bell rung and we changed to go to swimming. I was so pooped from combat.
In swimming we did a race and all of us from combat were last. We were all tired I guess. The rest of class we were able to talk or do something.
"What's wrong with you guys?" Aphmau asked looking worried.
"Combat class," I said.
"What happened in there that you guys are so damn tired?" James asked.
"We had to go up against each other. We had to fight until one of us gave up or couldn't stand," Eren said.
"Jesus. So who got there butts kicked?" Aaron asked with an evil grin.
"Well I beat Eren," Izzy said.
"I beat Travis," I said.
"And I beat Katelyn. Barely," Scarlet said.
"And Garroth and me got a tie," Laurence said.
"Wow. I CAN'T BELIEVE IZZY BEAT EREN OR (YOUR NAME) BEAT TRAVIS! ALSO HOW DID YOU BEAT KATELYN, SCARLET?" James screamed in disbelief.
"Well I guess Eren underestimated me. Also I'm faster," Izzy said.
"Well I guess the same with me," I said.
"Well I mean Katelyn almost beat me. We're both strong and fast but she uses more of her fist and I used it against her," Scarlet said.
"Wow. No wonder you guys are so tired!" Aphmau said.
"Yea when I get home and finish my homework I'm going straight to bed," I said. We all laughed and talked until the bell rung.
~Time Skip~
"Bye!" I said after I finished changing and rode my skateboard home. I finished all my homework and finished getting everything ready for school tomorrow.
I started watching (favorite anime or tv show). By the middle of the show I was sound asleep.
Beep
Beep
Beeeeeeep
"Huh? What? What's making that sound?" I asked myself only half awake.
After I got I saw my phone had three text messages and it was six thirty. All the text messages were from an unknown number.
~Text Message~
L: Hi (your name). This is Laurence.
I was wondering if you could meet me at the park in like fifteen minutes?
Please it's important.
Y: Oh uh sure!
L: Thanks!
~Text Message End~
That was weird I thought. I got dressed in (your favorite casual outfit) and headed out to the park. Half way there it started getting cold and I was shivering. This better be fast I thought continuing to walk to the park.
When I got there I couldn't find Laurence but I saw Garroth and ran over to him.
"Oh hey (your name)!" Garroth said when he saw me.
"Hey Garroth. Whatcha doing here?" I asked.
"Aphmau texted me to meet her here," Garroth responded.
"Oh that's cool," I said.
"What about you? What are you doing here?" Garroth asked.
"Well Laurence interrupted me from my nap and told me to meet him here," I said. After a second I realized something. "Wait a sec. WAS THIS A SET UP?!?" I yelled knowing it was probably true.
"Oh my gosh. I think your right (your name)," Garroth said.
"I swear we I s-see A-Aphmau or L-Laurence I'm going t-to k-k-kill t-them!" I said while my teeth were shattering from the cold whether.
"Jesus (your name)! Why don't you have a sweater on?!?" Garroth asked.
"I t-thought is w-wasn't c-cold out and t-then I was h-half way h-here and I forgot to g-get one," I said running my hands together to heat them up.
Garroth then took off his jacket and placed it over me. It was warm and cozy. "T-Thanks Garroth b-but aren't you c-cold?" I asked.
"Nah I'll be fine," Garroth replied.
"Thanks," I said already starting to warm up.
"No problem. Want me to walk you home since it's clear that Laurence and Aphmau just set us up?" Garroth asked with a smile.
"Sure! That would be great," I relied with a smile.
Garroth walked me home and we chatted along the way about sports and just random things.
"Oh here," I said taking off Garroth's blue and gray jacket and handing it to him.
"No, keep it. It looks beautiful on you," Garroth said outing it over my shoulders again.
I felt my cheeks burn up and I knew I was blushing. "U-Uh thanks a-again Garroth. See you tomorrow," I said stuttering. I ran gave him a quick hug and ran toward my house.
"Bye (your name)," was the last thing I heard Garroth say before I entered my house.
