Aboard the eye

Kaldur's P.o.v.

Raquel and i walked through the big halls of the ship. It was very confusing and difficult to find our way to our room. M'gann hadn't established a telepathic yet, so Raquel and i walked in silence. My thoughts slowly drifted off to Atlantis, to Tula. On sea i missed the city- her even more. I know i could never be with her now, because she loves my best friend Garth, but silently i still hoped

"Ugh, were never gonna find our room, and haven't we past this hall already," Raquel complained. She'd been trying to talk to me since we left but i kindly declined her every time. I didn't feel good about ignoring her but i knew what she would ask me eventually; What happened in Atlantis? And I was not ready to answer that question, yet. I did enjoyed her company, she's a very intelligent and pretty girl but my heart still belongs to Tula. I snapped from my thoughts when Raquel pulled my sleeve.

"Kaldur, hello? I found our room," She said while opening a Yellow door. I simply nodded and walked behind her into the room. The room wasn't gigantic but it was quite big. There was a small sofa against the right wall underneath a television. Next to the sofa there was another room, a bathroom. Inside there was a shower, a washbasin and a toilet. On the opposite wall there was a queen size bed with red sheets and pillows and two small nightstands on either side of the bed. On the left of the bed there were two small closets. I walked further into the room and well, admiring it actually.

"Not bad," Raquel said as she jumped on the bed. I nodded towards her in an agreement. This mission might even help me get my mind of Tula.

Robin's P.o.v.

After Alfred's 'wonderful' story of how i didn't help catch the bad-guy, the silence between me and Zatanna was finally broken. First we talked about missions and strategics but soon our conversations became more personal, more intimate. I knew Batman made me vow never to tell anyone my secret identity but she already knew so much about me and i could tell she was curious about it with questions like; So you really lived ...? or Where did you say that was again? Luckily for me i dodged every question with a very smug answer.

"..and that really happened on your school? The.. which one again?" Zatanna said, not even trying to hide her obvious fishing in my personal life.

"What about that movie we watched last night, Titanic right? Very romantic and sad don't you think?" I answered quickly. Well answered... more like avoiding her questions, again. Okay, maybe i wasn't as smooth as i thought i was but i couldn't say: That's classified. I'm not a stone cold computer.

"So..," Zatanna started but i immediately cut her off.

"I'm sorry Zatanna but i really can't go into details with you about my personal life, i vowed i never would. To protect those at my home and myself. I know i should tell you, because we've been teammates and friends for a long time but i just don't think batman will ever approve of me telling-,"

"Robin, i was going to say were at our room," She said while pointing towards a blue door "but i completely understand, not everyone can show their secret identity and i respect and accept that," She smiled at me. What just happened? I think i just fell in love with this girl. I mean i already liked her but man, you can't let go of a girl like this can you? If i could only talk to Wally right now.. Not that he would say anything useful, just the stuff i wasn't supposed to do.

"Robin? Hello, are you still in there?" Zatanna said while looking in my eyes. I snapped from my thoughts and smiled at her.

"Yeah, i'm here. So this is our room is it," I said while walking past her into the big room. There was a big king size bed at end of the room with two nightstands on each side. On the left there was a door to a bathroom with a shower, a washbasin and a toilet. In front of the bed there was a small couch, decorated with heart shaped pillows. On the opposite wall of the bed (next to the door opening) there was a television and two small closets.
