Mission Log: A Couple's Getaway

Artemis P.o.v.

I was walking down the hall with M'gann, Zatanna and Raquel, all with sleepingbags in our arms in our pyjama's. I wore a green pyjama shirt with an Arrow (i know clíche but yeah) and green shorts. M'gann and Zatanna wore the same pink shirts with black shorts (they bought it when they went shopping a few days ago) and Raquel wore a glowing purple night shirt. We decided to organise a sleepover in the small livingroom, because it had a large television and so when we'd get hungry M'gann could make some snacks. We put our sleepingbags on the floor and i sat down on the couch while Zatanna and Rocket sprinted to the cabinet beneath the television to start bickering about which movie we would watch. M'gann made her way to the kitchen and started heating up some popcorn. After only 3 minutes the whole room was filled with the wonderful smell of salted popcorn. I stood up and walked to the kitchen.

"Smells good M'gann," I said glaring at the microwave. Then a red and yellow strike moved past me and stopped right next to M'gann putting an arm around her.

"So are you ladies having a sleepover here, just for me?" Wally said acting all surprised and weirdly proud. "So M'gann i really like you're Pj, if you know what i mean..," He said blinking, making M'gann turning away (probably of shame). Ugh, it disguisted me that he still flirted with her, even though he knew she was with Conner now. I guess it still hasn't reached that tiny bit of brain he has in his head.

"Wally get out of here and just Don't come back," I said annoyed. He looked at me raising an eyebrow and releasing M'gann from his grip. Then he gave me a smug smile and disappeard.

"Awh man, he took the popcorn," Raquel complained. Red with anger i stormed off towards the mission hall, i heard M'gann and Zatanna shouting something but i didn't listen. Right now i only wanted one thing, too kick some red haired idiot's butt.

Wally's P.o.v.

I just ran into the mission hall when i heard monster steps coming closer and closer. Probably Artemis, i thought, maybe i shouldn't have taken the popcorn and hit on M'gann. For some reason she Always gets annoyed when i do that, probably to protect her friend but also a reason to keep doing it. I smiled. The only problem now it that i'm dealing a krytonian boyfriend who also doesn't likes it when i hit on his girlfriend, not that i still want M'gann, just to annoy Artemis. While i was still in dreamland i felt a fist against my cheek and saw a red headed Artemis standing right in front of me, crossing her arms.

"Auw, what was that for!" I yelled.

"Hand over the popcorn, now,"

"First say you're sorry, then you will get the popcorn back," I said smiling at her.

That wasn't a smart thing to do. She stepped on my right foot and while i dropped the bowl she grabbed it and smiled at her victim, which was me unfortunately. I almost fell down but put my arms around Artemis, causing us both to fall on the ground. She on top of me. I looked her in her grey eyes and couldn't help but staring. Her whole face turned red. Was she blushing? No, probably not, right? This was the closest I've ever been to her and to be honest i didn't felt as weird or wrong as i kept telling myself the whole time. I even started to lean in and Artemis looked shocked but didn't moved a muscle. Then i heard noises coming from one of the hallways and Artemis almost flew up. She grabbed the bowl (now empty because she dropped it when i pulled her down) and started walking back to the girls, leaving me behind lying on the floor. I sat up and scratched the back of my head. What just happened? Did i wanted to kiss her? No, ofcourse not, it's Artemis.

"Hello? Earth to Wally? Wally?" I heard a voice saying. I looked up and saw Robin, Kaldur and Conner standing next to me. I shook my head while standing up and smiled.
