Mission Log: A Couple's Getaway

Hi,

Well, I'm not very good with this but I'm sowry for not updating for so long. I've been pretty occupied with school, my amazing friends, my terrible love-life and well family issues. If that sounds fake to you, well that's too bad.

However, I am glad I wrote this chapter and like all writers, I'll try to update more frequently but I have an exam week coming up, so I can't make any promises.

Also, I wanted to dedicate this chapter to @Xx_thunderstorm_xX for reminding me how annoying writers are if they start a book but don't finish it. I hate that too.... So thank you! You really helped me out there.

Aboard the eye

Artemis's P.O.V.

After the Chicken was safely returned to the petting zoo, Wally and I went back to our room. The tour was practically over After Wendy (our guide in The petting zoo) was carried away on a brand card, very dramatically if you ask me, the tour ended and we were told that we could make our own plans for the rest of the day. Todd was nowhere to be seen, not that I really liked him, though. Maybe his body but that's about it. He's quite known to be a lady's men, even with the happily married women... that should tell you enough.

"Artemis," Wally whined, "What are we going to do?"

"I'm going to the sauna. I have absolutely no idea what you're going to do," I answered calmly as I grabbed my towel and bikini. What? I'm not going to be naked in a room filled with strangers. I quickly ran out the room before Wally could follow me and walked towards the saunas. After a few wrong turns, I finally found it and quickly changed and got in. I sat down on the steaming bench when I felt a hand touch my knee. I quickly bend his/her hands around their neck and twisted it. Unfortunately, he/she was strong and skilled. The person flipped me over and I landed on the ground. I groaned and the door opened. A woman wanted to walk in but she looked in horror as she saw me laying on the ground. I heard the person hiss to the woman and she fled. When I turned to the person towering over me, I saw a glimpse of black hair. The steam in the sauna was so thick I almost couldn't see through it but there was a face. A face I recognised immediately.

"Jade," I said annoyed "Get off me,"

"You didn't like your hello, sis," She answered and I could already imagine the smirk plastered onto her face. I jumped to my feet and swept the sweat from my forehead. It really was steaming hot in here.

"Why did you attack me?"

"You attacked me first," I heard her sitting down and followed the noise to sit down next to her.

"You grabbed my leg," I argued.

"We're sisters," I sighed. This was going nowhere.

"Why are you here? Another special mission from the League of Shadows?" I heard her sigh and the wooden bench made a cracking noise as she (most likely) laid down.

"Family vacation," She blew the steam for her face away and revealed a Cheshire smile. Even without her mask, there was no denying she had the looks of the cat.

"With whom?" I asked suspiciously.

"With my daughter and husband,"

"Your what?!" I exclaimed. "Since when do you have a husband? Or daughter?"
