Chapter 31

We played a good game of monopoly. But it was hard with the stupid iron.

"Here let me try." Gray said.

He tried all he could think of, but nothing worked.

"I guess we have to ask him." I said.

"No I already know what's going to happen." Gray said.

"What."

"Wait can't you use your magic?"

"Nope. He used a magic blocking spell on these things."

He helps me to my feet from the ground.

"Okay let's get this over with."

We walk to the guild. Gray storms in and punches gajeel straight in the face.

"Take those things off of her!" Gray yelled.

Something about gajeel didn't look right. His eyes look crazy and like not gajeel.

"Let's just do it outside. Me, you, (y/n)" gajeel said.

"Do what?" gray said.

"Battle. I win I get her. You win you get her."

"Okay."

"Gray don't do this."

He just looks at me and walks outside.

"Where is natsu when you need him." I whispered.

"Not here." Gajeel said as he pulled me outside.

My nose is really itchy! And my shoulders hurt from being behind my back.

Gajeel and gray stood in front of each other. Fists clenched.

"Battle. Start!" Gajeel said.

And gajeel does the first hit. Iron to the face.

Gray redeems himself by hitting gajeel with a ice hammer.

-20 minutes later-

No! Gajeel won!

Gajeel has one foot on Gray's fallen body. Gajeel looks at me and smirks.

"Come out guys." Gajeel said.

Then gajeel falls to the ground.

The whole magic council and army comes out.

"I hear by declare (y/n) (l/n) as magic council property!" A army guy says.

They then shoot me with a dart in my arm.

"What is this." I said.

Then I fell to the ground and blacked out.

I feel myself waking up. I see I'm in a little diner. I'm at a table. My hands were also free.

I look around and see a hunter at the front bar. A couple having diner. They didn't seem interested into each other. I also see a man in a suit reading the paper.

I walked up to the bar and found a seat.

The waiter came up to me.

"What would you like?" She asks.

"How did I get here?" I asked.

"Two men came here and dropped you off."

"Oh. Can I get a coffee."

"Yeah. Hold on."

She walks away from the bar and walks to the couple's table. And I see she is wearing strange shoes.

She then pours me a cup of coffee, but she was shaking.

"You okay?" I asked.

"I'm fine." She says.

She then slides me a cup of coffee. I pick it up and right away I see 911 on a napkin.

But then a gun is pointed at my head.

"Move and you die." The hunter said.

I also hear a gun load behind me.

"This is a stick up! Everyone to the ground!" Another man said.

I didn't know what to do. Fight and be a hero or listen to them and not die.

I flung my coffee at the hunter. Once it hit his face I smashed his face in the counter.

I then grabbed the hunters gun and I hit the man who pulled out his gun behind me, it was the man in the suit. I smashed the gun into his nose.

I dropped the gun. Why didn't I use magic?

Then someone started clapping. A man in a cheap suit stood up, still clapping.

"Well done, you passed level one." He said

"What?" I said.

"Hi. Patrick quin."

"What is going on?"

"You were just tested. And you passed. This whole thing was a lie."

"I knew something was up when I first woke up. A couple who doesn't even notice each other. Your work man reading the newspaper, which was handed out last week! And you went bad with your waiter. You can't wear high heals that long. She would have blisters the size as tomatoes. So yeah."

"Why do the smart mouths always have to pass."

"Wait why......."

He then shoots me again with a dart.
