Logan was never really into girls.

People questioned it during her high school years, when she and her friends held hands, hugged, or flirted with each other. Logan ignored the gossips, because she knew in her heart and mind that she was 100% Straight. She was motherly to her friends. They loved asking her for advice, they trusted her with their secrets, and were extremely comfortable with her. Logan treated her friends like sisters if not, sometimes like her own children. Yes, some of her friends were bisexual, but she's made it clear that that's not what she was into if she grew uncomfortable with their advances. On St. Patrick's Day, she wore a 'Kiss Me I'm Irish...ish' button on her favorite green shirt in hopes of getting her boyfriend to kiss her, but instead a few of her friends kissed her on the cheek, and they apologized because she wasn't comfortable with that. She'll hug them, hold their hands, flirt with them when there wasn't a boy to get kinky with, and would ignore anyone who called her a lesbian. But if a girl kissed her, she'd draw the line and ask them not to do it again. So yeah, Logan was never into girls.

But then she met Henley.

She idolized her a little bit. She loved her sick humor and admired her for being brave enough to pull some of the stunts she does in her escape artist tricks. Henley openly says she's a sick sadist, and inspires Logan for that.

Logan just thought they were really good friends, because they would hold hands just like Logan did with her friends in high school. Two girls sharing an apartment with three men usually brings you closer to a point where Logan and Henley acted like sisters. There were jokes about the two of them throughout the year of planning their shows. Sometimes Henley and Logan were stern and act motherly to the boys, in which Merritt or Jack would like to call them their Moms. It was a lesbian comment to say the least, but like all those other gossips from school, Logan either ignored it or played along for the fun of it. Henley didn't seem to mind.

Henley loved the fact that Logan was comfortable with herself and the other four adults around her. The escape artist was sure that if she was ever in a situation in a bar where a gross guy was flirting with her, Logan would probably swoop in and pretend to be her girlfriend until the guy would walk away. And Henley was grateful for a friend like that. She and Logan would flirt from time to time, calling each other 'babe' and acting almost inappropriate but it was usually because Henley has a sick mind and Logan was basically a female version of Merritt (which scares Danny).

Merritt did try to hypnotize and figure out Logan's sexuality once. And when it got to be too much, he got a punch to the shoulder and he shut up as his way to apologize, and she immediately forgave him.

Logan finally made the conclusion that she was still Straight once Henley left. The only woman who made Logan ever question her sexuality had run away, so Logan found it easier to keep believing she was into guys anyway.

But it still hurt when Henley left.

Logan had woken up one morning to a letter by her bedside saying where Henley was going and why she left. When she ran out to tell the others, it turns out the boys had all gotten a separate letter. They had to call up Dylan and tell him what had happened, in which he responded saying he knew. He admits that Henley had been thinking about leaving for awhile, and asked him to make her a new identity and a plane out of the country.

Logan didn't have anytime to sulk like the other Horsemen. There was no time to cry as she was furious. She wanted to scream and yell at Henley for leaving, for breaking off the team and breaking all their hearts. She abandoned her family! Logan always had admired Henley for being the glue that sticks this team together...and now she's gone. And that angered and scared Logan to death. With Henley gone, how was this team going to thrive?

Logan sat alone in her apartment for about three days, in her own thoughts, punching a wall or a pillow as she watched movies and ate out of anger. She was frustrated, and finally noticed that she hasn't heard from any of the boys. Her being motherly, she decided to go and check up on them.

She had found them in Merritt's apartment. The door was unlocked, most likely intended for her in case she felt like visiting, and walked in. All three men were on the couch, backs facing her as they were still getting over the fact that Henley was gone. They were still trying to comfort each other and grip the fact they practically lost someone they loved.

It only took them to look up at her for Logan to feel something snap in her heart. One look at the blue and brown eyes staring up at her and she was breaking down, crying immensely. They stood up, swarming her and leading her to the couch, coaching her to breathe as she wept. Danny took off her shoes and held her hand, his face lowered so that no one could see the silent tears flowing down his face. Merritt had kissed Logan's forehead while running his hand up and down her back, his hat long gone to show that he hasn't been sleeping in awhile. And then there was Jack, crying with her, holding her close while she cried into his chest.

It was times like these where she prayed that no one else leaves.

((Just a heads up, I have a separate Now You See Me book called Illusion and none of the Horsemen or Logan are together, gay, in love, etc. Though it IS a J. Daniel Atlas/OC pairing fanfiction so go check it out!))
