~From Jack's POV~

When he was born, all four of his soul marks were already on his skin, indicating that they were already alive and older than him. His parents were shocked to find there was four names. Not many people have more then one soulmate.

J. Daniel Atlas was tattooed to his right wrist. Jack used to trace it all the time during school, whenever he got stressed out. For some reason, he always felt overconfident when his finger ran over the signature. He got cocky when it came to pranks and what not and he would come off a little rude. His parents were not happy about this soulmate. Whatever personality this young man had, it was influencing their perfect baby into a little devil. No, no this soulmate, they did not approve of.

Merritt McKinney was scrawled across his left forearm. The signature was sloppy, like it happened when the owner of the name got drunk, and Jack figured that soulmate was well over his thirties by the time Little Wilder dropped out of high school. Jack was always able to persuade others to do something whenever his finger ran over that odd name, and he was grounded a couple times for it.

Henley Reeves was a name his mother was thankful her son owned. Even though a boy name, Mrs. Wilder was confident that soulmate was a girl. It was the way the signature looked elegant across Jack's collar, and whenever her darling son ran his fingers over that name, he gained the gift of being a perfect angel, with manners and kindness. Sure, there was a tad of sick humor that went with it, but none the less, his mother was glad that at least one of his soulmates had a good influence on his life.

Logan McCarthy was a name both of his parents were skeptical about. Yes, it was a boy name in many countries to say the least, but again, they were both sure it was a girl. The signature was a little girly, and Jack gained some sort of stubbornness in his personality from the scripture engraved over the curve of his left hip. He got sassy a lot from the influence of this particular soulmate, and while sometimes he was childish and fun, other times he was mature and wise. His parents had mixed feelings about this soulmate.

Jack would never meet his soulmates until he was in his early twenties, which by now, he had figured out his own personality and didn't mistake it as one of his soulmate's. He figured his oldest soulmate would be in his late forties to early fifties, either way he wasn't sure if he'd ever meet Merritt.

Jack obviously figured out who his only other male soulmate was when he had found J. Daniel Atlas performing on the streets one night. Jack was only seventeen years old at the time. He couldn't find the courage to walk up and introduce himself as the magician's soulmate and only idolized him from afar.

He got himself into magic after that, as a way he hoped he would meet Daniel again. Turns out, he would find all four of his soulmates down the path he had chosen.

When he first started living as a Horsemen along with the four other older adults, he didn't acknowledge the fact they were his soulmates, because the rest of them didn't encourage it. They all pretended that it wasn't true and moved on. But then, Jack discovered his name one night on Henley's ankle when she wore shorts one night. He started observing and looking for his name on the others as well. Logan wore a tank top one day and he noticed his signature on her left shoulder blade. He figured out why Danny prefers to wear folded up collars and not v-necks, it was because Jack's name was clear as daylight on his pale skin, scribbled onto his neck. He never exactly found his name on Merritt's body until much later, when he 'accidentally' found his name on the v-line of the elder's torso one drunk night.

To say the least, Jack Wilder was the happiest person alive.
