Hello, beautiful ppl. How are y'all today?! 🎀

Happy Independence Day (4th of July), my fellow Americans! (Idk if I've attracted the international crowd...yet.) 🇺🇸🎆

I know what you're probably thinking, "Liz, you promised us that you'd update this weekend. Where were you?!" Well, it's technically still the weekend because it's a long weekend, so I made it and I've kept my promise! 🤗

Tbh: I didn't really have an idea for a new chapter, but I did recall telling you guys that I'd update. So, I reached back all the way into my childish stages of life (Lol, I'm still in them!😂) and came up with the topic of sleepovers. From my experiences with sleepovers, I can tell you that you can plan a sleepover for weeks (even months...yes, that's possible) and it will NOT turn out perfect, but here are a few things you should know when planning a sleepover...

😴💕😴💕😴💕😴💕😴💕😴💕😴💕😴

☁︎ Food ⇒ Let's be real here; at a sleepover no one really wants the fanciest dinner in the WHOLE WORLD. Stick with something simple like pizza, sandwiches, burgers/hot dogs, etc. (Drinks count here too!)

☁︎ Snack(s) ⇒ Get snacks that everyone will like because you don't want tons of leftover and possibly touched food. Keep things simple (a.k.a. original) in this category, too, because everyone has a different taste. Some snacks may be chips, candy, popcorn, veggies w/ hummus or ranch (if you're the healthy-kind 🌽), etc.

☁︎ Movie(s) ⇒ From the many sleepovers I've been to, I can officially say that it's easier for you, the host, to provide your guests with a selection of at least 5 of your favorite movies so they can vote for the one they'd like to watch. Preferably, choose movies from each of your favorite movie genres (comedy, chick-flicks, horror, drama, etc). Popular movies include Mean Girls, High School Musical, Friday the 13th, Grown Ups, Titanic.

☁︎ Game(s) ⇒ This probably sounds childish af, but you need to have some games; the last thing you want is for your guests to be on their phones because they're bored. Whether it's video games or board games, keep your friends entertained. You can play Just Dance (video game), Mario Kart (video game, personally my fave), M.A.S.H. (it's a 90s game; look it up), Monopoly (board game), Truth or Dare (idk what kind of game this is, but trust me it's a game), a friendly game of soccer, water balloon fights (since it is currently Summer), etc.

☁︎ Activities ⇒ Now, just because you have the games, movies, food/snacks doesn't mean you're ready. You'll need to plan out some other activities to do. These activities will vary depending on everyone's personalities and what you as the host can offer to your guests. Some recommended activities are makeovers, swimming (if you have a pool), tie-dying t-shirts, challenges (if you're confused by this option, say so in the comments and I'll explain it), etc.

☁︎ Sleeping arrangements ⇒ Two words: BLANKET FORT! Yes, we are teenagers. No, we are never too old to build a blanket fort. (Nor are we too old to watch Finding Dory, or ANY Disney movies for that matter. 😌 Leave a comment if you saw it!) Anyway, blanket forts are the best places to sleep in; it's basically camping. But, you don't have to make one if you don't want to; just be sure to fully communicate with your friends because you don't want them to feel like crap if you force them to sleep in a certain area they're not comfortable in.

😴💕😴💕😴💕😴💕😴💕😴💕😴💕😴

Well, I tried to make this chapter as long as I possibly could. Like I said before, I've run out of ideas, so it's kind of hard to do. With this being said, if you have an idea for a chapter, don't forget to comment or DM me. 😋

Thank you so much for all the reads, views, and comments! And, I'll see you next weekend! 😘
