The term kamidere (かみデレ) comes from the Japanese word "kami" (かみ) meaning God. Kamideres consider themselves god-like and are very arrogant. They think that everything they do is right and they can do whatever they want.  

Great examples of kamidere characters are Light Yagami from "Death Note" and Mio Isurugi from "MM!".
