You were woken up to the sound of Hoodie yelling and honking the horn. For a split second you thought that something bad had happened, until Hoodie started cursing. You sighed at his language. Opening your eyes, you were greeted by the painful sun.
You turned your head while covering your eyes. Hoodie growls. Looking over at him, you smirk. He had his teeth bared and a death grip on the wheel. You were surprised that it wasn't broken.
Hoodie curses again, and turns the wheel quickly. "What the f*ck is wrong with you, *ss head?!" He yells while honking.
You chuckle quietly. He mustn't be used to the city, you thought to yourself. Hoodie barely looks over at you, though he remains silent. That's odd, you thought he would yell at you for removing your hand from under you.
You leaned up, rubbing your eyes, yawning. It seemed to be about noon or so. You lick your dry lips. The car was still hot like a volcano.
"When are we gonna take a break? I'm thirsty and hot."
He shrugs. "I don't have any money, remember?"
You start scavenging through the car. Hoodie glances at you. You throw your hands in the air smiling. In your hand is a wallet. You open it up and look through it.
There's was on average at least one or two hundred dollars. Your face lights up with joy.
"Hooray!" You cheer leaning back.
Hoodie bites his lower lip, trying to hide a smile. He fails miserably. You chuckle.
"Can we go get some water and food? And maybe get some crap to make this A/C work?"
Hoodie nods slowly. You cheer again. He doesn't smile this time. You look down, embarrassed. The silence is heavy and awkward. Clearing your throat you point at a gas station.
"That looks like a decent place." You say quietly.
Hoodie nods. You had thought for a split second that you two were getting along, then it was swiped away. You sighed, you guys were never going to get along. He turned and honked the horn as a guy pulled right out in front of you.
"F*ck you too, knob head!"
You look at him for a second, raising a brow. He shrugs, his way of saying "ignore that." You jump as Hoodie slams on the brakes. An idiot had decided to stop dead right in front of you two. Hoodie leans back.
"Can we just buy some food, water, and a couple of backpacks? I'm getting rather tired of these d*mned fools." Hoodie asks quietly.
You gesture to him with your hands. "You're the boss."
You can only guess that he rolled his eyes. He doesn't speak as he pulls into the gas station. He looks at you.
"Go buy a small case of water and nutritious food and if they have any, two backpacks."
You nod and get out. You highly doubted they had any backpacks but they were bound to have some food and water. Though you didn't care what Hoodie said, you were buying a few sweets. You had the money.
As soon as you got inside you got the hots for the cashier. He had somewhat long blonde hair, freckles, and bright blue eyes. You smiled at him. He smiled back, giving a small wave.
You went and found some dried fruits and a few candies before going off to get the water. Like you suspected, they didn't have any backpacks, but it was worth a shot.
You knew you could rat Hoodie out, but he'd probably kill you and the cashier if you didn't come out after a few minutes.
As you made your way up to the register you noticed the cashier starring at you. You smirk and strut a little. It would be fun to do some flirting. Setting your stuff down you look at some food and undo your first few buttons on your shirt. Turning around, you pick your stuff up and walk over to him.
Blush tints his cheeks as he scans your things, though he never seems to stop starring at you. You bite your lip smiling.
"Will this be all?" He asks.
"Well... I was wondering if I could check you out later." You say in a flirty tone.
He blushes smiling, but doesn't reply. You shrug as he hands you your bags. You walk away and back outside.
As you get in the car you notice Hoodie starring at you. His mouth is slightly open with blush singed cheeks.
You glare. "Can I help you?"
He shakes his head and pulls back onto the road. "Can you maybe button your shirt back up before I reach over and do it for you." He warns.
You blush. Quicker than what should be possible you buttoned it back up. Hoodie nods his thanks. You look out the window, your blush never seeming to leave.
Hoodie clears his throat. Glancing at him, you notice a smug look on his face. You raise a brow. He emits a small chuckle.
"I never noticed that you enjoyed impressing strangers."
You glare. Before you can stop yourself, you punch him in the shoulder. Immediately, you cower against the door. "Ohmylordididn'tmeantodothat! Ijustgotembarrassedand-"
You stop talking as Hoodie's smile widens. You were expecting him to scold you, instead, he started laughing. You scowl.
"So you were flirting! You getting mad only proves it!"
You could definitely feel your blush darken. He was teasing you. It was better than scolding but it was annoying as h*ll. You leaned back crossing your arms, pouting. Hoodie shoves your shoulder.
"Oh come on, it's better than me yelling at you." He says, his laughter dying down to a small smile.
You look at him. "By a hair." You growl.
He makes a small "heheh" without opening his mouth. "I hope you know I won't be acting like this often. But at the moment, I'm bored as h*ll... And I'm getting really f*cking p*ssed off with these idiot c*ck sucking b*tch face b*st*rds!"
Your jaw drops. Turning to face him, you can't even manage words. Hoodie looks over, with a confused look. It would've been easier to tell if he didn't have that mask on.
"Did you hear what you just said? I have never heard anyone use that much profanity in one sentence!"
Hoodie shrugs, looking back at the road. "Eh, Masky can add twice as many."
You gawk. How often did those two cuss? How many curse words did they know?! To have twice as many in a single sentence that would be difficult.
Hoodie only grinned at your silence. You rethink his sentence and count the cuss words. Your eyes widen.
"He can get ten cuss words in one sentence?!"
Hoodie nods, slowly. "You seem surprised."
You move your hands in the air. "Of course I am! I can barely fit three!"
Hoodie laughs, throwing his head back for a split second. He sighs happily while turning off the road and into a less lived in area.

The buildings eventually disappeared and it started to become more of a countryside. It was quite beautiful actually. You loved the country, mainly the lack of people. It was quiet and peaceful.
Hoodie was leaning back comfortably. His hands lightly gripping the wheel. He seemed less stressed without the traffic. Once you had gotten on the less crammed road he calmed down a bit. He stopped cussing and he actually left you alone.
Though you liked him being 'nice' to you his teasing was quite annoying. But this silence wasn't bad it was very serene. You enjoyed it. The hum of the car. The slight crackle of rocks. It was really nice.
You grunted as you guys hit a bad pothole. But you didn't like being jostled around. Even Hoodie didn't look to happy with it. Though you couldn't blame him. He was much taller and would hit his head on the ceiling. It was hard not to chuckle though. Which had earned you a few nasty looks.
The ride was definitely going to be a while. You were bored, hot, tired, and your head still hurt. Hoodie had changed your bandages once you had gotten out of the city but your headaches were mainly caused by motion and with all those bumps it really hurt.
Hoodie rubbed his head again, growling. "Just a few more days and we'll be they're."
"You said we were walking most of the way, right?" You ask.
He nods. "In the next town we'll stop at a store and by a couple of backpacks." He says.
You nod slowly. "Fun." You say sarcastically.
Hoodie shrugs but remains silent, something that he was good at. He seemed to love the quiet, until he got mad. Then he was the loudest person alive.
You yawned again, watching the clouds. You weren't happy. But as you looked over at Hoodie you felt your heart thunder. You didn't have a crush on him but something about him was different. He had this air of confidence about him and mystery. He excited you. His attitude could change from really perky to really mad. You wanted to crack him to see what he was really like. He was amazing... You needed to find out who he really was.
