"You mean I'll be fighting other proxies?!" You exclaim.
Hoodie nods slowly. "Not necessarily fighting but you'll go against them to test your strengths."
You thought it'd only be you and Hoodie. Yes you knew you'd meet other proxies but this was different. You only wanted to fight with Hoodie. Yes he was annoying at times and angered the h*ll out of you, but it was better than fighting someone you didn't know. Besides, no matter how much you hurt Hoodie he seemed to be fine.
Hoodie stared at you as you zoned out. He could see the arguments building in your eyes. He sighed as he came over to you. Laying a hand on your shoulder, he shook you lightly.
You jerked your head up, snapped out of your thoughts. "No." You said in a bold voice.
He remained silent for a few seconds as he crossed his arms. He looked like he was about to speak. He cocked his head. You could easily tell he wanted to know why.
"What if I hurt them? What if I kill them on accident?" You ask in a worried and serious tone.
"Well," Hoodie starts. "It proves that I chose the right proxy and trained her properly. If the other proxies or incapable of fighting against you that shows that their masters chose wrong, or didn't train them right. Or I trained you better. I highly doubt you'll harm them too seriously. If the fight is getting out of hand we'll stop you." He says while looking down at you. "If you end up actually harming them and they're good. I'm not going to be mad at you... I'm going to be proud." He finishes.
Your eyes twinkle for a second. He would be proud? It seemed to light you up for a second before a thought entered your mind. Your eyes went dull as you looked down.
"What if I get seriously injured." You ask quietly.
He gently places his hands on your shoulders. When you don't look up he moves one of his hands and lifts your chin. You didn't want to know what he was going to say. You were about to lift your hands and cover your ears until he spoke.
"You won't." Is all he said.
You stare at him. He had full faith in you that you would do well. He believed you wouldn't lose. You didn't know what to say. You had no idea how to respond. You guessed that was Hoodie's idea.
He walks away over to a less glass filled area and sits down. He leans against the wall, his hands behind his head. He flexed his arms slightly.
"I'd get some rest while that rain is here." He says. "You're gonna be working hard from now on."
You slowly walk to the other side and lay down. The clunk of the rain on the roof was nothing more than a soft tap. Your eyes felt like weights. Not long after you closed them, you fell asleep. You heard loud footsteps running towards you. You couldn't move though. Something told you to run. But there was nowhere to go. You couldn't see anything. Only a small light hung above your head. You couldn't tell if there was any furniture. The floor was made out of gray cement.
Soon the footsteps stop and someone stands in front of you. You look up to see Hoodie. His mask is rolled up. As you look down you see his pistol in his hand. Your heart skips a beat.
He lifts it to your head. You squeeze your eyes shut. He was going to kill you! You opened your eyes slightly as tears built up.
What did I do wrong? Is the only thought that entered your head.
Tears streamed down your cheeks as you awaited death. You heard the clatter of the gun as it was thrown down. You were about to open your eyes until something plush pressed against your lips.
Was Hoodie kissing you? No. He wouldn't. Would he?
You gasped as you felt a tongue against your lips. The person kissing you slipped their tongue into your mouth when given the opportunity. Your face was burning.
They pulled away after a few seconds, gasping for air. It was only then that you realized how out of breath you were.
You opened your eyes. Hoodie stood in front of you. His face, from what you could see, was a mask of blush. Though a small smile was on his face.
"I can't kill you." He says quietly.
You try to speak but it comes out as a hoarse whisper. Hoodie chuckles quietly. He slowly leans forward and kisses you again. This time, you kiss him back. It was heavenly.
You were still stuck in place and couldn't move. But you didn't care. As long as you were with Hoodie it didn't matter.
He pulled away again. You both were gasping for air. You smiled at him.
"Hoodie." You whispered. He nods for you to continue. "Can I see your face?"
He smiles as he flips his hood off. He slowly starts taking off his mask, teasing you. You whine impatiently. He chuckles as he fully pulls it off.
As soon as he looks up a bright light blinds you. You couldn't see anything above Hoodie's neck. You squinted your eyes.
"You okay Y/N? How do I look?" Hoodie asks.
His voice starts to become muffled. Your world seems to fall.
"Hoodie? Hoodie?" You say as the world begins to spin and go black. You wake up blushing. Rubbing your eyes you lean up. The rain had stopped and it was dark. Hoodie had fallen onto his side, asleep. His mask was rolled up above is mouth and nose.
You watched as his chest slowly rose and fell. The rest of his body remained unmoving. You smile softly.
Before you could stop yourself you were walking over to his sleeping form.
You knew that if Hoodie was at all to wake up, you were dead. Slowly you got on your knees. You yourself didn't know what you were doing. As you starred at his lips you felt your face heat up.
They looked so soft. You bit your lip. You wanted to feel his lips against yours again. That dream had stirred something in you.
You leaned down and pressed your lips against his. They were so soft. As you pulled away your face burned again. What did you just do?!
Immediately you got to your feet. Quickly, you walked to the entrance. You had no explanation on why you kissed Hoodie. You covered your eyes making an awkward groaning noise.
Looking up into the sky you noticed something. You could see the stars. It was gorgeous. You hadn't looked into the sky for ages! There were so many stars too. You sighed happily as you starred up. It helped calm you.
You don't know how long you were out there before you felt a hand on your shoulder. You swiveled around to see Hoodie. His stance suggested he had just woken up. He looked at you for a few seconds, then at the sky. He shook his head and went back inside.
You chuckle slightly. He was probably wondering what you were doing up. Yawning, you noticed how tired you really were. Slowly, you went back in and laid down. You rubbed the remnants of sleep from your eyes before falling into a deep slumber again. You slept soundly with no memory of your dreams.
