Hoodie looked back at you. You had grown from five feet to ten feet behind him. You were panting like a dog. Sweat dripped from your face. You wanted to drink some water so badly. Hoodie wasn't sweating that badly and his skin was still pail.
A small smirk appeared on his face. You growled as you jogged up next to him. The water in your backpack didn't help. He shakes his head.
"If you're thirsty, take a drink of water."
You shake your head, swallowing. Your throat was too dry for you to speak. Hoodie sighs, continuing his fast pace.
You lick your parched lips. How was he not thirsty? You began falling back again. You looked at the ground, trying to think of something that could cool you off that wasn't water.
You jumped as cold water hit your face. You jerked your head up to see Hoodie looking at you. He had his lips set in a fine line. He had a water bottle in his hand, half of the water was gone. You blinked a few times, licking the water off your lips.
Hoodie put the cap back on the water. He turned around beginning to walk again. "I'm not going to let you completely die from heat exhaustion. Now drink one of your waters." He ordered.
You reluctantly take out a water and take a couple sips. Hoodie turns his head, he nods slowly. You put the cap back on and put it away. You walked a little quicker so you were only about a foot away from Hoodie.
He stops, dropping the backpack. He unties his sweatshirt. He slips it back over his head with a sigh of relief. You give him a weird look.
"How can you survive this heat?!"
He shrugs. "I've learned how to cope with the it." He answers.
You shake your head. "You are one strange boy."
He holds a finger up. "Correction, I'm a man."
Smirking, you chuckle darkly. "You sure, you act like a little boy."
You can only guess he had rolled his eyes when he scoffed. "I know what you're doing and I'm not falling for your trap."
You pout, crossing your arms. He pulls his hood over his head, reaching a hand under his mask again. You suspected he was moving hair back.
You walk up next to him, starting to somewhat dry your hair out. "Why do you keep that mask on?" You ask.
"It feels comfortable. Without it on, I feel exposed." He says, his face becoming a light shade of pink. You hold back a chuckle.
He coughs into his fist. "It'll probably be night before we reach the next town."
You nod. You suspected you'd reach the town by sunrise if you kept up this slow pace. "Tell me something else I don't know."
He remains silent. He gives a slight chuckle. "Your top, when wet, is see though."
You immediately blush, covering your chest. "Why didn't you tell me that after you soaked me?!"
"I felt it wasn't necessary."
"Wasn't necessary?! Give me your sweatshirt or your shirt!"
He gives an entertained smile as he begins to take off the backpack. He takes off his sweatshirt and tosses it to you. You quickly put it on. You role up the sleeves.
Glaring, you walk a little faster. He chuckles quietly behind you.

It was probably about two hours after you started walking faster that you saw the town in the distance. You began jumping from one foot to the other, happy. You quickly point. Hoodie comes next to you, nodding.
"We're so close!" You stop smiling as you look at Hoodie. "We aren't staying in the town, are we?"
He looks over at you. "What do you think?"
You sigh. You were definitely not excited now. You dropped the backpack and fell to the ground. Groaning, you grip patches of grass. Hoodie sits next to you, tugging at his sweatshirt.
"Can I have this back?"
You give an incoherent answer. Hoodie lifts up your head. You cough, closing your eyes.
"Yeah, sure." You say.
He pulls you up, knowing that you weren't going to take it off by yourself. He slips it off as you lean against his chest.
"It's so hot!" You whisper yell.
He snickers. "Baby."
You growl, glaring at him. He leans back, throwing his sweatshirt aside. You wipe sweat from your head. Wiping it on his arm, you laugh.
"Ew." He says wiping his arm with his shirt.
You grin as you fall back onto the grass. Hoodie leans over you, placing his hands on your back. You lift your head.
"How bout we test your strength, try and get me off of you."
"I'm too tired though!" You whine.
He places his forearms on you, not moving away. You groan and try to crawl away. He pulls you back.
"Are you sure you just aren't weak?"
You glance at him. "My head still hurts too." You say giving him puppy dog eyes.
He scoots up and sits on your back, his legs on either side of you. He places his hands on your shoulder blades.
"Hoodie, please! It's hot and I just walked like a thousand miles!"
"I went through the same thing, but I'm not complaining."
"Get off already! I couldn't beat you yesterday, I won't be able to now. Considering I have an injured head." You struggle under his weight.
He places more weight on your shoulder blades. You grown, placing your face in the grass.
He leans close to your ear. "As your master, I command you to try and escape."
You blush a dark red. "Please don't call yourself that whenever we're in this position."
He quickly leans up though he doesn't get off. "Wow, you dirty minded girl."
You claw at the ground. "Hoodie, I just want to rest." He doesn't move. You try to lean up but he pushes you back to the ground.
"When you can beat me, I'll get off." He says, he barely seems to be giving it his all.
You try to turn over only to have him shove your arm down. You growl as your face is shoved into the ground. He leans over you, gripping your wrists so they're by your head.
"Now try." He says in a quiet voice.
"You're barely trying to keep me down! How am I supposed to beat you?!" You say in a sharp tone.
He doesn't reply. You try to role over, though your right hand stays firmly in place thanks to Hoodie. You groan as you continue rolling over. Both of your arms hurt to the point you wanted to stop moving. Hoodie barely moved an inch.
You eventually turned to the point where your arm was as far as it would go. You glare at him. He keeps his mouth in a fine line.
"You're a jerk, you know that?" You say with some heat.
He doesn't reply, though he's nice enough to let your arms go. You quickly try to push him away, he shoves you back down. You cross your arms.
"Are we doing this again?" He asks.
You nod. You slowly try to crawl out from under him. He places his hands behind your shoulders. You bump into his wrists, glaring.
"Remember, I'm your Master. You do as I say."
You blush again. "What did I say about calling yourself that when we're in certain positions!"
Blush tints the area of his face you can see. You lean up.
"Hoodie, I'd like to get up."
He shakes his head. You lay back down.
"Wake me up when you're done being mean." You say while closing your eyes.
You soon feel his entire weight across your body. His breath against your neck. Blush burns your face and your eyes burst open. You quickly role over while shoving him to the ground. You jump to your feet dusting yourself off.
"You know what I feel like doing right now? Walking. Walking seems nice right now." You say picking up your backpack and walking in the direction of the town.
Hoodie gets up behind you. "Good job, you got me off of you."
"If you ever do that again I'll kill you." You growl.
"You wouldn't be able to." He retorts.
You snort but don't reply. You'd had enough of Hoodie's crap that day. Hoodie walked behind you. Neither of you spoke.
