Drake POV

I stand on the pavement alone. I feel so bad now. Me and words. I know she has trust issues, not that that's a bad thing and I know I need to be more careful with the way I say stuff.

My mum bandaged my foot in the morning just before Evangeline came to my house. It doesn't hurt and I think it's because I walked on it so much, yet Evangeline still insists I use the crutches.

I begin walking to school ditching the crutches on the sidewalk. I'll have to get a new pair but I just can't not use two feet. It'll screw me up. And yes, I do have a shoe on the foot with my fucked up ankle. Thank god it's a minor sprain.

I shove my hands deep inside my pockets as I near the school building.

I grab my things from my locker and I see Cassy and Brian at their lockers.

I jog up to them and ask if they've seen Evangeline. They say that they haven't seen her since last week and that sends me into full panic mode. I know what she is capable of doing to herself. Heck, she could pull out her own hair if she wanted to.

I run into someone and look down to meet Alison the mole.

"What's your problem? Why do you hurt her?!" I blow at the little bitch before me. She smiles sickeningly sweet towards me. I scoff and narrow my eyes at her.

"I have no idea what your talking about." She bats her fake lashes at me. I mentally vomit.

"Cut the shit Alison. Your always hurting Evangeline and I'm sick of it!" I growl at her. She stumbles back and trips on he impossibly high heels. If it were anyone else, I help them in an instant but this bitch deserves to rot in hell. "Fuck you!" I growl and storm off, leaving her on the floor.

First period I have music with Evangeline so hopefully she'll be willing to talk to me then.

The bell rings and the students all scurry to their classes.

I walk in the music room and am greeted with everyone's familiar face besides Evangeline's. My stomach churns and I look at Miss Percepiny.

"Where's Evangeline?" I ask.

One of the kids in my class shouts, "Last time I saw her, she was bolting out of the school grounds."

My eyes widen and then I race out of the class and run to the school doors.

She has to be at her house. Please God say she's alright.

I near her house and instead of slowing I speed up. Her front door is wide open and her bag is thrown on the floor, blood covering the bottom.

"Shit! Blossom!" I call, cupping my hands around my mouth to amplify my voice. "Evangeline! Where are you?" I run up the stairs to get to her bed room. The doors wide open just like the front door and I see no sign of her. The bathroom door is shut and locked. I turn the nob and shove the door but it stays rooted in place. I push harder on the door and send it flying to the ground. I catch a glimpse of Evangeline's small figure. Her whole body is coated in a thick layer of blood and her arm has deep cuts in them. In her right hand, she holds a razor.

"Fuck!" My voice cracks as I feel tears well up in my eyes. "Blossom, what did you do?!" I scream, cradling her in my arms. I pull my phone from my pocket and call 0-0-0.

"Hello. What's the emergency?" The lady from the end of the line asks.

"P-please come to 42 Rodger street. Now!" I scream.

"What's the problem, sir?"

I groan, tears falling down my face. "My friend, she's bleeding to death. She has deep cuts all along her arm."

The lady's voice goes full on panic. "Okay. Stay calm. Wrap something around her arm to stop her from losing more blood. We'll be there right away."

I hand up the phone and pull her close to me. "Oh Blossom." I bury my face into the crock of her neck.

I sob into her neck, my wet tears dampening her bloody skin. I reluctantly pull away and rip my shirt and wrap it around her arm.

The paramedics come and rush into the room, pulling her out of my grasp. I don't protest. They lie her on the stretcher.

"Do you want to come in?" One of the paramedics ask.

I nod my head. It isn't until we are driving away till I call her mum.

"Hello?" Her mothers voice sounds muffled on the other end of the phone.

"Hi Mrs Roman. Um..." How are you meant to tell someone that there kid is getting taken to hospital? You can't just blurt out the news. Then again, I have no use how they are going to react. I swallow past the bus lump in my throat and continue talking. "You need to come to the hospital."

"Why?" Her voice sounds concerned and confused.

"Evangeline..." I sigh and rake my hands through my hair. "She...she is going there. She's in the van with me."

"Wh-how-why?" I hear her breaking down and then full on crying on the other end of the phone sounds through the speakers on mine. After her crying she gasps for air and finishes. "Sorry. I'll be there shortly."

The line clicks dead and then I return my gaze back to Evangeline's motionless figure. Her face is pale, all the pink has left her cheeks and her once tanned body is a pasty white. Her lips a blue and chapped, slightly open and her arms lie limp on the stretcher. The wires connected to her heart monitor beep slowly. "What does it mean?" I ask one of the doctors.

"Because she was bleeding out, she would initially have a fast rate as the heart tries to compensate, but the heart eventually slows down dramatically due to activation of the ventricular baroreceptors once enough blood is lost." The doctor explains.

"So because of the amount of blood lost, her heart was pumping faster to evenly distribute whatever blood she has left to all her body parts, then it dramatically slows down when the blood pressure has slowed down?" I ask trying to wrap my head around all the scientific words he just used.

His head moves from left to right. "Basically."

"Is she going to be okay?" I push further. This is my fault. I knew about the bullying but I didn't do anything to stop it.

"She lost quite a lot of blood. She will slip into a coma due to the among of blood lost but we won't know if she will..." He pauses, his eyes averting from my gaze to something behind me. "...live"

So she might not even make it?

I nod my head and look back at Evangeline. I bury my head into my hands. "She has to live," I mumble, "To many people care about her. She can't just leave." I frown as tears prick in my eyes. "I care about her. God dammit, I love her." I whisper inaudibly.

I don't know what I'll do if she's gone.

A/N
So I'm writing these chapters fast and maybe I'll be finished by the end of the week! I am sad and happy that the books over. Again I don't know if there is gonna be a sequel and I'm debating between her living or flatlining. I mean it only makes sense that she flatlines cause the amount of blood she lost is almost impossible for her to even last a week. I'm no doctor but all we can hope for is that a 'miracle' will happen😏

Did you guys like this chapter? Do you think that it is Drakes fault for Evangeline's state? Is it Alison's? And, what would you do if you were getting bullied the way that 'Blossom' has? Tell me in the comments and I promise to read cause I have nothing better to do😂

Love y'all.
