CHAPTER THIRTEEN:

     I groaned and streatched, sitting up in my bed. I got to get a shower. I dragged my feet over the wooden floorboards, not realizing that the bathroom door was opening. BAM! I knocked heads with Sasuke, managing to fall down bringing him with me. He landed on top of me, frozen in shock, my face was beet red, my only thought was that I was glad that he was actually dressed and not just wearing a towel. He leapt up off of me and glared at me accusingly. "What the hell is your problem!?!"

     "I-I d-didn't mean to knock you o-over! I w-was tired! A-and I w-wasn't paying attention! S-sorry!" I bolted into the bathroom slamming the door behind me. I sank to the floor in misery. Great, It's not even 8am and I've already embaressed myself! "Ugh! Why is it always me!?!" I sighed and hopped in the shower. This is going to be a long day.

      I was so flustered that I forgot my clothes! I growled in frustration and started pacing. Okay Aniko, you can do this! I rapped my towel around me tighter and poked my head out the door... safe. I opened the door all the way and made a mad dash into my room. 'Made it!' I got dressed and walked out the door.

   I was humming Party Rock Anthem to myself when Sakura and Ino stepped infront of me with angry expressions on. "Hi guys.... what are you doing here?" I asked, trying to lighten the mood.

  They glared at me, "Stay away from my Sasuke or your gonna regret it!" They screamed at me the same time.

   My eye twitched, "You can have him. I frankly am not interested in him."

  They stared at me in disbelief and screamed it again, then started the name calling at each other and I quietly slipped around them and went to meet up with the team.

  We had just compleated mission Lost pet Torra, who was currently trying to kill Naruto.  I snickered and walked up to him. I pryed the cat off his face and it was perfectly calm in my arms. "Demon cat!" Naruto muttered.

  We were all staring at the huge lady who was squishing the poor thing to death. "Atleast we know why it ran away!" I stared at the cat with pitty.

   "HA! That stupid cat is getting just what it deserves!" Naruto grinned. Sakura hit him hard on the head. "OW!" he howled.

  Naruto yelled at the hokage that we wanted a real mission and about how he wasn't a little kid anymore. Hokage-samma was currently giving a lecture, but to be honest, I'm not too sure what it's about.  we were too busy listening to Naruto talk about ramen.

   "HEY! Are you even listening to me!?!" yelled the hokage.

   Kakashi chuckled and scratched the back of his head while apoligizing.

  You want a C ranked mission? Fine. You will be escourting someone back to the land of waves. Here he is now."

   A drunk man swayed through the door and slurred, "I am Tazuna,master bridge builder, and I expect you to protect me with your lives. Wait, these are just a bunch of brats! You expect me to believe that that midget of an idiot is going to  protect me?!"

  Naruto laughed, "HA HA! Who is the midget?" We all lined up, Sasuke, then me being an inch shorter than him, Sakura, and last but not least... Naruto. "I'll KILL you!" He lunged towards Tazuna but Eagle caught his shirt collar.

   "Now, now, Naruto, what's the point of killing the person you're supposed to protect?" Kakashi scolded him. "I'll meet you guys by the gate in an hour." We nodded and left.

 I sighed and took a short cut by jumping from roof to roof to the house. I walked in and went to my room to pack. I was done when Saske came in and I went to make a bento box to eat on the way.

 I left soon after with him and saw Sakura at the gate. She was glarring at me, oh dear god, what did I ever do to deserve this?!? When we walked up to her, she tried to punch me in the nose. I took a step to the left and caught her fist. "Why?" I asked.

 "I thought I told you to  stay away from my Sasuke!" she growled. She threw more punches and a kick. I was getting bored so I pulled out my whip, threw it around her ankle and pulled her to the ground where she landed heavily.

  "Listen, you pink-headed freak, I. Am. Not. Interested. In. The. Uchiha! Get that throught your thick scull!" I screeched at her. Then stormed off to a nearby tree. I heard her ask Uchiha if he was going to just let me do that to her. If I wasn't so mad, his answer would actually make me laugh.  he said, "Why?"

A/N: Sorry for not uploading in a while, I had a writers block, so I started another story and then came back to this one!
