After class I went to the meeting spot Kakashi had picked for me. I waited about an hour before a girl who was wearing a silvery vest with a black shirt and jonin pants jumped out of the bushes. She glared at me for a long time before I exploded, "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT?!?!"

She smirked at me,"Kakashi sent me to train you on how to use your sword and whip."

I blinked at her. She couldn't be serious! "Oh I am serious, and don't doubt me like that because you just might end up calling me sensi." she wiggled her eyebrows mischievously at me.

My jaw dropped to the floor. I recovered and glared at her. "Are you going to teach me to use these things or what?!?"

She cocked her head to the side, seeming to ponder my question... or whether to kill me or not. Couldn't tell which. "Well, now that you mention it, I suppose I could teach you a thing or two," she said, still watching me carefully. "Then again, I am a very busy person..."

I rolled my eyes at her and growled, "Well, Kakashi obioulsly sent you here for a reason!"

"How do you know he didn't just send me here to rile you up, little one? Or to annoy me, for that matter; I think I still owe him money for that last bookstore run..." she trailed off, apparentlly lost in her own thoughts once more.

I groaned,"Noooooo! You're not a pervert too, are you? Because one pervert is enough for me!"

She glared at me suddenly. "No, I am NOT a pervert, thank you very much. You know, if you really want something from me, you shouldn't go around insulting me... Or my sensei, while we're at it."

"I thought you were a jonin, you can't be one if you still have a sensi," I said with an evil glint in my eye.

"A shinobi's training is never truly finished; you'll never make it past genin if you don't learn this," she said steadily, her expression even.

"Oh, will you please teach me something, no name-sensei?" I pleaded, my voice dripping with sarcasm.

The glare was back again. "You know, there are much more appreciative students in the world just dying to have me as a mentor..." she muttered before continuing. "You want to learn something? Come here." The girl walked over to a tree on the edge of the clearing where we stood.

"Well if I knew what to call you maybe I would respect you!" I shot back at her, while timidly following her, my eyes darting up and down, side to side, just waiting for her to appear some where and kill me.

"Stop fidgeting," she snapped. "You may call me Eagle. I do not disclose my true name to anyone I don't trust with my life." A flicker of real emotion flashed behind her eyes for a split second, gone too quickly for me to decipher it.

"So will I one day earn this trust...Eagle-sensei?" curiosity geting the best of me.

Eagle's face was inscrutable for a moment until she spoke again. "Many have tried, little one. Not many have succeeded." She almost sounded sad, her voice full of an ancient sorrow. "Enough questions about me. See this tree?" she continued, her voice returning to it's previous, faintly mischievous, tone.

"Yes? Wait aren't you supposed to be teaching me how to use my sword and whip?" I asked, confused.

   "Take out your whip."

"Okay," I took out my whip and looked at my "sensei of the day" for more instructions.

"Now climb the tree," she said, pointing to the lowest branch (about seven feet off the ground).

"Uhhh..." I took the whip and snapped it to the tree branch and it wrapped around it. I tugged on it to make sure it was secure and started to scramble my way up the tree.

"No, no, no; you're doing it wrong," she scolded, and before I could react, I was sitting on my butt on the ground before the tree. "Watch and learn, Ginger." Eagle snagged the whip from my hand, took three steps back from the tree, and in one fluid movement bounded forward, swung the whip up, wrapped it around the branch, and lithely jack-knifed up onto the limb.

"One that was very impressive, two my name is Aniko, and three can I please have my whip back so I can try Eagle-sensi?"  I said, half annoyed, half amazed.

She watched me smugly from above, then tossed the weapon down to me. "Be my guest."

I snatched the whip out of the air and tried wrapping it around the tree before I backed up and did what Eagle did. Well. I went too far, and instead of landing on the branch I slammed my jaw on it and landed on the ground with a 'thunk!' while Eagle chuckled at me. I tried about ten more times before I succeded, but it took Eagle a few minutes to notice, because by that time she was rolling on the grass laughing. I had managed to get a mouthful of bark, loose my balance-that time I had almost got  it-and jam my finger.

"Heh, heh, ah, well would you look at that? You actually made it up there, Alice," Eagle gasped, wiping the back of her hand across her watering eyes and sitting up.

"My. Name. Is. Aniko......Blondie."I growled at her. She was pushing me to the very edge of my calm state. She wouldn't like me if I got angry.

She raised her eyebrows and shrugged, saying, "Whatever, Nico. I gave you a compliment; you should be thanking me."

My eye twitched. I glared at her. I would have my revenge.

Eagle looked at me oddly. "Earth to Anita! Get your scrawny ginger butt down here and do it again! I don't have all day to waste here."

"What. Did. You. Call. Me? Because I know you didn't just call me 'Anita'." I seethed, my voice dangerously low.

"Look, Anke, I don't have time for-"

I thought I would explode in my rage, then suddenly I felt powerful, but I had no idea why until I noticed the immense amount of chakra around me. I had grown a long feline-like tail, a set of black, mysterious looking wings, and my eyes had grown sharper. I gasped. "E-Eagle-sensi! W-what happened?!?" I cried terrified.

She recoiled, her eyes going wide for a second before she settled into a defensive crouch. "What the hell are you?" she snarled. "Did my uncle send you?" She drew a knife from her pouch.

"N-no! W-who is that?" I stuttered. Eagle snarled inhumanly and shot out at me. It was a kill shot. A blur of green and white came out of the bushes and Eagle was slammed into the ground with Kakashi on top of her. "Run! Go to the hokage's! You'll be safe there!" he yelled with Eagle squirming under him.

"NO! The demon must die! Uncle sent her!" she howled, as I made a break for it in the direction of the Hokage's office.

I burst through the door, ignoring the jonins who were guarding the entrance, and slid to a stop in front of the Hokage, gasping for air.
