*Braelynn POV*
Left me here with these damn kids that's why you can't do anything for anyone. I don't have a problem with watching the kids. But at the same time I'm not a live in daycare. I understand they're my siblings and I should be able to grant my mom this favor but these 3 are a handful. All I ever get is a thanks Brae. No money or anything. I feel as if I'm being walked all over . They know I won't say no so they'll keep asking. Then they'll say it's my duty as older sister. No that's their job as parents. When I'm not here they either send them to daycare or find a babysitter so they could've acted like I just wasn't here. Then Jacob's ass on top of my parents. They always take his fucking side. Especially dad, Brae chill the hell out its football. That's how dad protects Jacob from responsibilities. When J.J was born Jacob promised his family came first, but I see we'll always come after football. No love or respect. He claims he loves me then he goes and does some selfish shit. Like after I get left here with all these kids instead of offering to help babysit he runs off to his parents house. He makes me sick.

When he pulled up into the driveway I didn't want to speak to him at all. When I heard the front door open I put my headphones in. He went upstairs and came back down.

"Brae" he tapped me

"Fuck on outta here Jacob" I pushed him

"Are you serious right now Braelynn" he yelled

"Yes Jacob and lower your voice my siblings are taking a nap"

"I came back to apologize"

"You came back because our stuff is here"

"Brae seriously hear me out"

"Jacob I'm tired of hearing your lame excuses"

"This isn't one of those times"

"If it's about marriage then don't Jacob"

"No Brae we need to have this conversation"

"Maybe you need to have this conversation"

"We have to get on one accord

"We'll just disagree, and football will triumph as always"

"Okay that's your blanketed excuse not to talk to me"

"Football is your excuse not to do a lot of things"

"You seem to love football more than you love your family, you're selfish Jacob"

"I know" he admitted. Wait that's the first time he's owned up to being selfish. He understands now.

"You have a family to think about Jacob it's not just you and football anymore."

"I know Brae"

"I understand it takes up your time but you gotta find a way to split time."

"We have a son now"

"Brae, I'm sorry about the partying when I should be home with you"
