Cammie has a zombie brother

"Oh my gods." I whispered, looking where she was pointing. A boy stood a few feet away, messy longish blonde hair that hung in his eyes. He had blue-grey eyes, just like Cammie. He looked about 18, and he wore army pattern cargo pants and a short sleeve button up shirt with black Nikes. He looked just like in the picture that Cammie took with her when we were making our escape.
A selfie he made her take with him the day he died.
He and Cammie seemed to be having a staring contest, before she bolted over, screaming his name. Vinny opened his arms and she lunged into his chest, sobbing. After she was done, she pushed him back. "Where the heck have you been? I thought you were dead, jerk!"
Vinny laughed. "Well, in my defense, I thought I was to."
"Wait, what?"
"I'll explain everything later." Vinny sighed. He then seemed to notice all of us staring at them. "Who are your friends?"
"Oh," Cammie said. "Right. That's Jason, Piper, Percy, Annabeth, Sydney, Nico, and Leo." She pointed to each.
"Nice to meet you all." Vinny nodded a greeting.
"So your Vinny." Nico muttered.
"Yup." Vinny smirked. He looked at Cammie then Nico. "You guys a thing or..."
"Vinny!" Cammie yelled, smacking Vinny's arm. "Of course not!"
"Oh. So you're still dating that jerk Kyle?" Vinny grumbled, blowing hair out of his face. Cammie's eyes glanced at the ground.
"Yes and no." She said, barely above a whisper. Then she pointed at Leo. "He's my boyfriend now." Leo walked over and shook Vinny's hand.
"You're Leo, right?"
"Yup. Just your friendly son of Hephaestus." Leo smirked.
"Hephaestus, huh?" Vinny scratched his neck. "You do realize that Hera is his mom right?"
Leo sighed. "Yeah. Godly parents don't matter, though. Only if she was a daughter of Hephaestus would I not be able to date her."
Vinny nodded. He slung his arm over Leo's shoulders. "But still, I'm gonna have to give you the big brother - boyfriend talk."
Leo gulped and Cammie face palmed.
I laughed. I never met Vinny, but I could see so much of Cammie in him. "That is," Vinny continued. "Only because my time is limited."
Cammie rose a brow. "What do you mean?" A small hopeful smile appeared on her face. "You're alive. You're here. Why is your time limited?"
Vinny shook his head, releasing Leo. "It's complicated."
"Well, why don't you explain? We're all smart here." I said, popping out my hip.
"It's just hard to explain right now. I said it's complicated." His expression was unreadable.
How come his time is limited?
Cammie. I'm so sorry but... I think he is dead.
T-that can't be. He is alive. Don't you see him.
That's true, but I still don't know.
I glanced at her and saw something I haven't seen on her face for a while. Her eyes sparkled more and her grin was huge.
She was genuinely happy. Not fake. She was really happy. That made me smile real big. Seeing this reminded me about Jack. My smile wiped off my face and Nico looked at me.
"What's wrong?" he asked me.
I just ignored him and walked away. He was starting to follow me. When we were out of earshot from everyone else I screamed at him.
"Just leave me alone! Why do ya always have to follow me?" I started to conduct an Iris message.
"Just what are you doing." Nico asked me with a scowl, probably from yelling at him.
"Leave me alone." I said sternly.
"No." Nico said crossing his arms. That's when I bolted and started to run. I flew a rock in the air and jumped on. Nico was on the ground yelling and screaming. I Iris messaged Jack quick.
"Hi!" Jack said.
"Thank the gods you're still ok." I said a little out of breath.
"Why wouldn't I be?" he asked.
"You can't trust anyone." I told him. "There might be someone trying to take your memory. Just be careful. You can tell Chiron about this, that is the only person that you can trust."
"Ok... Anyways I have a surprise for you when you come back!" Jack said.
"What is it?" I asked with a smile.
"I said it's a surprise. When you first get back to camp go to the willow tree." He told me excited. "Let's just say I was practicing my powers."
"Ok well I gotta go or else people won't trust me. Also Nico must be very ticked off. I'm literally floating on a rock right now with him screaming at me." I rolled my eyes.
"Bye!" Jack said cutting off the message.
I floated back down. Nico tackled me to the ground. I threw him away from me and floated him on his own rock while I was on another. I laughed while he was holding on the piece of earth with his fingernails. He took out his sword and jabbed it into the rock and held on.
"Put me down!" he yelled.
"Not unless you promise to stop tackling me!" I yelled back still laughing.
"Alright! Alright! I promise!"
We heard a voice from behind us laughing. "So this is who you're with, Nico!" Vinny! Great another blush attack!
Percy laughed, "So that's who you were blushing about earlier!"
"Shut up or I will pound you into the ground!" I yelled with 100% full of anger.
Percy's face paled and he gulped. Cammie and I are evil together combined. Even one of us is enough, but two? Forget about it! Annabeth laughed and then kissed Percy on the cheek. I can tell they're a thing and same goes for Jason and Piper.
Vinny laughed. Then his expression became dark. "My time's up, baby sister. I think we'll be able to see each other again. Don't forget to thank mom for our reunion."
Cammie ran over to him and hugged him. "I will find you. I will." Vinny just chuckled.
"I know."
Cammie looked up at him. "Where are you, any way? Can you tell me?"
Vinny nodded. "The caves. I think you know which ones." Cammie's face paled.
"R-right."
Vinny looked over at Leo. "Soon as I get back, then we'll take talk. Till then, you hurt her, I hurt you." Vinny then waved with a grin. "See all of you later!"
And he disappeared.
