The fun ride

We payed the girl tickets that was running the ferris wheel and hopped on. Cammie and Leo went on first they took a cart which left me and Nico on another. When we rode up there we were silent looking for that fried chicken place.
    "Wait there's one over there."I said pointing at one near the tilt a' whirl.
    "But there's two more over there."Nico said pointing in the opposite direction.
    "I knew it was too easy finding this guy. This is going to turn out bad."I said. "I see another one near where people will see the fireworks tonight."
    "We should all split up."Nico noted.
    "In pairs cause we are not going alone to some freaky fried chicken place." I said. Nico nodded back at me. I started thinking about Cammie. I just couldn't leave her alone, she'll be too scared.
    We met our eyes and looked away. I could swear that I was blushing. Great. He probably seen that.
    "So what's our plan?"I asked him.
    "Honestly I don't know."he replied.
    There was a silence between us after that. After the ride was over we met up with Cammie and Leo smiling. I wonder why they are smiling. They probably had a funny joke. They joke around all the time now.
    "Hey. We are going to split up into pairs."I said.
    "Who are we going to be with?"Leo asked.
    "I'll go with Cammie."I said. Nico looked concerned, but he agreed. He knows I want to keep Cammie safe.
    "Ok."Cammie said still smiling.
    "So there are four fried chicken places. They might have wanted us to split up completely. That's why we are going in pairs. So nobody will be alone. Nico you and Leo will go to those two fried chicken places on the opposite side of the tilt a' whirl."He nodded. "Cammie and I will go to the one at the tilt a' whirl and the one near the fireworks."
We all departed and Cammie and I headed to the tilt a' whirl first.
"So... Did you and Leo kiss..."I asked slowly. She blushed and punched me in the arm.
"No we didn't..."Cammie said. "So did you and Nico... well... kiss?"
"No we talked and spotted the fried chicken stands." I said back punching her arm.
"Yeah right."Cammie said smirking.
"But that is all that happened."I said to her getting angry.
"Wow! Somebody has anger issues..."Cammie said.
"What did my eyes glow green again?"I said.
"Yup. I'm used to it now though."
We walked up to the fried chicken stand and looked inside. A man was at the counter like he did not care about a thing in the world.
"What do you want?"the man said with his eyes flashing.
"Umm... yes does a man called Jam-" I said but then stopped cause I almost called him James."I mean Joe here?"
"Never heard of him."the man said. He picked up a book and started reading. He was squinting at the words like he couldn't read them.
I looked at his eyes and seen a mist surrounding it. I squinted my eyes and realized that he had one eye.
"Let's go."Cammie said pulling on my arm. I walked a couple of feet away from the stand.
"Cammie he is James!"I whispered.
"How do you know?"she asked me.
"Look at his eyes. Closely." I said.
"Oh my gods... A cyclops..."I walked back over to the stand and asked,"Is your name James?"
"What did I tell you? My name isn't Joe!"the cyclops said.
"I didn't say your name is Joe I said James."I said back to him.
He rubbed his chin and said,"What do you want?" Oh great! We didn't ask Nico what we needed. "Well?"
"Give us a half an hour and we will get back to you on that."I said pulling Cammie away. I spotted a water fountain and took a golden drachma out of my pocket that Nico gave to me. Drachmas is just an old greek coin that was used in ancient times invented by the Athenians.
Nico told me how to send an Iris message through rainbow. Iris is the goddess of rainbows. "Oh Iris, Goddess of the rainbow, please accept my offering." I then threw the coin into the fountain.
Nico appeared in the water and asked,"What's up? Did you find James?"
"Yeah and why didn't you tell us that he is a cyclops? Never mind I don't want to know."
Leo came into view and started to say,"Look I'm in a rainbow! Wait how come nobody taught me how to Iris message, but Sydney learned almost right away! That's not fair!"
"Oh be quiet Hammerhead."I told him.
"Hey I only let Cammie call me that!"Leo pouted.
"Yeah!"Cammie said.
"We are at the tilt a' whirl. We only have-"I checked my phone "twenty two more minutes. Hurry! I certainly don't want to become a Sydney kabob."I said.
"And I don't want to become Cammie kabob."Cammie said.
Nico nodded. Leo said,"Bye!" Nico slapped his face with his palm"What it's my first time using an Iris message!"
The image faded away. We waited at the tilt a' whirl. Nico and Leo came running and we all went up to James.
"I'm Nico this is Leo, Cammie, and Sydney. We need help."when he said our names he pointed to us.
"And why should I help you?" James asked.
"We are friends of Chiron."Nico replied. "We need the map."
What map is Nico talking about. I over heard that the Labyrinth was back, but I didn't know what what that meant.
"Now there is going to be a price."James said.
Nico grumbled, "What is the price?"
"One of you will have to stay here until I get the map back."James said with an evil smirk."Just in case you don't bring it back here. I will have something of yours."
    I spoke up and said,"Do you really want to mess with me?" I put on a poker face and would not let it waver away.
    "I'm sorry but what would you do to me? Or what will any of you do to me?"James asked.
    "I said do you really want to mess with me? Give us the map and then I will swear on the Styx that I will bring it back."I said still with the poker face.
    "And what if I don't?"
    "You will be very sorry."I growled.
    "HA HA HA HA HA!"James laughed.
    "Do you know who I am?"I asked him. "Because if you did I bet you will give us the map."
    "Who you are? That does not matter. You are just a punny little demigod" James said making fun of us.
    "I'm a daughter of Gaea."I said. His face paled.
    "Prove it!"
    "Fine! I will!" I started putting my hands up, but Nico stopped me. "
    "What are you doing? You'll get too weak to stand."Nico said with concern in his eyes.
    "We need the map!"I started to will the earth with me and made it shake. Rocks started to float and the look on James's face was priceless. His face was almost completely pale by now. He took the map out of his pocket and held it out for Cammie to take. His hands were shaking like crazy. I could have sworn that I seen that he had made a leak. This was starting to get a little funny but I stopped the rocks and the earth.
    "J-just k-keep the m-map!"James said trembling.
"Thanks for your consideration..."I said getting dizzy. Again. It was worth it now we have the map. I started to fall but Nico propped me up with one of my arms across his shoulders.
"Let's get out of here."Cammie said examining the map.
Looks like Nico transported his car here. Why didn't we just ride his car on the way here? I honestly don't know. He summoned the dead guy to drive the car and we all went in.
"I call shotgun!" Leo said. I sat behind the driver's seat, Cammie behind the passenger's seat, and Nico in the middle. Oh course Leo got shotgun because he... well... called it.
I fell asleep with a nightmare.
I was in the pouring rain in a wheat field. I front of me was the wolf that attacked Cammie. It's eyes were glowing blue and it would not keep it's eyes off of me. I stared back at it not daring to look away. If I looked away it would pounce and kill me, well it looked like it was going to kill me anyways. The wolf started to walk towards me. I stepped back a couple of steps. It pounced at me and bit me in my ribs. I screamed.
Nico shook me awake. I realized that I was screaming in real life. I looked away from everyone and didn't say anything.
"What was your dream about?" Nico asked me.
"It was nothing"I lied.
"We heard you screaming. Something is wrong."Nico noted.
"Well no duh. She just doesn't want to talk about it. Leave her alone." Cammie said. THANK YOU CAMMIE! I owe her one. Nico still looked at me in concern but did not ask me anything.
I was now wide awake and told myself not to go back to sleep.
