Earth and Delphi

CAR GO BOOM!

We all stopped and took a look around. I recognized this place from pictures at school. We were in San Francisco. It was a perfect view of the Golden Gate Bridge even though it's not really made of gold.
"Not San Francisco!" Percy yelled. "Let's get out of here!"
"Why?" Cammie said.
"Lots of monsters in San Francisco. This is like the place where they all come. It's like a greek monster nest festation." Annabeth said.
"Ok then but we need a place to go to next." I said.
"I don't know but anywhere but here." Leo said looking around. Probably for monsters.
We all walked around looking for monsters but saw none. I could tell everyone else was nervous too. Percy looked like he was gonna have a heart attack while Annabeth's eyes were darting around from notes about monsters to looking for them and then back to her notes. Jason and Piper were just looking around cautiously for any sign of a monster. Cammie and Leo's eyes were looking around like someone was gonna sneak up on them. Nico acted like he was used to this and didn't even bother to look around but he had his hand on the hilt of his sword.
Me? Oh I'm just looking around for signs until I seen a guy in front of a Starbucks. I quickly turned my sword from a bracelet back to Gi and drew it in front of me. Everyone else did so also cause they met my gaze on guy.
That's when the guy's skin started to melt away and he laughed evilly, I could tell he was british. He started to turn into a lion like creature but had dragon wings and a tail of a scorpion's. I recognized this monster, it was a manticore.
"Hello, Di Angelo! Having the time of your life!" the creature said. "Cause if will be the end of it!"
"Hello, Dr. Thorn! It is not the end of my life! It's yours that's gonna end!" Nico yelled at the manticore. I'm guessing that they had a backstory. "You were in hell before and now you're going back!"
Dr. Thorn laughed at this and lunged at Nico. I acted quick with my sword but for some reason my sword turned into two dual dragon headed daggers and blocked the manticore's scorpion's tail from poisoning Nico. He jumped up from behind me and sliced off his scorpion tail making it turn to yellow dust and being sent back to Tartarus again.
I looked at my daggers/sword and clinked the daggers together and it turned back into a sword. What the heck just happened with my sword?! Oh well it saved Nico, I'm happy with it! This sword though is starting to creep me out badly. First I discover that it can change into a bracelet now a two dual dragon headed daggers?! Honestly right now I don't care at all so I'm just gonna act like it's a normal day with a very normal sword that can turn into daggers and a bracelet.
"How did your sword do that?" Leo asked.
"I have no clue." I said.
"Can you do it again?" Nico asked. "They looked cool." I pulled the sword apart and they turned back into the dragon head daggers. I looked at the metal carefully and realized it was mixed with both stygian iron and silver. I knew silver can kill wolves... Great!
"Stygian iron and silver!" I said. "Silver will help with fighting that stupid wolf and killing it!" I was so excited. I turned the daggers into my one bracelet and started to walk away.
As we were walking we were still looking for any monsters. I was thinking about going into that Starbucks but I didn't want to go into that building because there was a 99.9% chance that that place was crawling around with monsters that like the taste of demigod blood.
"Oh my gods! Why didn't I think about the Argo 3?!" Leo yelled as he pulled a whistle out of his pocket and blew it. I didn't hear a thing come out of that thing. Before I knew it there was a giant dragon swooping down at us.
"Hi Festus!" Leo said. "How have you been?" He paused and then said, "Calypso is here as well..."
"Who's Calypso?" Cammie asked.
"His girlfriend." Calypso said tapping her foot.
"I broke up with you!" Leo said. "Why won't you let that go! You're my EX-girlfriend!" Calypso ignored him.
She walked over to Cammie and walked around her in a circle. "So you stole my boyfriend's heart."
"EX-boyfriend!" Leo screamed. She ignored him again.
"I'm his girlfriend now so take a chill pill." Cammie said rolling her eyes. Calypso stomped very angrily. What's her problem? I walked towards Cammie who had a gleam in her eyes. Oh no! That means she's up to no good!
"Cammie? What are you thinking?" I said.
"I thought you could read minds?" Leo asked nervously.
"She blocked me out." I replied.
"Calypso's gonna die." She muttered with an evil gleam in her eyes.
"Down girl." I said. Cammie sighed.
"Look, Calypso. It's obvious you and Leo dated, but..."
"It was never official that we broke up!" Calypso stomped her foot. "I just suddenly appeared back at Ogygia!"
"But," Cammie lifted a hand, gesturing for Calypso to let her finish. "That doesn't mean you have to hate me."
Calypso slapped Cammie.
"Oh shut it, you little emo."
I could practically see Cammie's flashbacks of Kyle's abuse. That was even one of his nicknames for her.
"Hey!" Leo yelled, trying to interfere. Cammie suddenly turned to Calypso, her eyes looking like blueish storm clouds.
Suddenly, Cammie had Calypso's white shirt collar, holding her in a grip. She brought a knee to Calypso's stomach.
"Don't ever do that again, got it?" She let go of Calypso, who crumbled to the ground.
"Whose child are you?" Calypso growled.
Cammie smirked. "Hera. And don't you forget me, hon." She squated down to Calypso's height and flicked her in the forehead. Calypso seemed to turn to gold light and disappeared.
"Well, now that that's dealt with," Cammie turned around to see all of our shocked faces. "What?" She asked, cocking her head slightly.
Leo whistled. "Note to self, don't get you jealous."
Cammie rolled her eyes, flicking her, now almost all black, hair behind her shoulder. "Whatever." But I could see the look of both relief and her ego rising in her eyes.
"So, what's this Argo Three, you speaketh of?" Cammie asked. Leo pushed one of Festus's scales and a little box popped out. He grabbed it and pressed a button on it. Festus literally disappeared and the box turned into a red Jeep, the license plate reading "Argo 3".
"This is!" He said, extending his arms. "It's a car, a flying ship, a plane, and a helicopter all rolled into one!"
I whistled, examining the car. "Cool." I said under my breath. Don't forget it's also part dragon."
"I know, right? I worked on it ever since the Argo Two blew..."
"Excuse me." I heard a voice. We all turned to see a man behind Cammie.
"Uh, what?" She asked.
"Are you Cameron Madison?" He asked.
"Why?" Cammie asked, her hand slowly working it's way to her jacket pocket.
"Your father is looking for you."
"Guys, get in the car." She said slowly. "But I'm shotgun."
"Cammie..." I started.
"Do it." She ordered. "How do you know my dad?"
We all climbed into Argo three, Leo driver's seat, the rest of us piled in the back.
"I'm friends with your dad via FaceBook." He said. "He posted a picture of you saying you were missing." He grabbed Cammie's wrist. "You really are much prettier in person."
Then, I saw his image waver. "Cammie, that's a cyclops!"
"I think she knows what she's doing." Nico said. Pulling me towards the car and I followed still not taking my eye off Cammie.
"Thank you." Cammie nodded.
"You know, I'm actually a demigod."
"Really?" She asked.
"Mhm." He nodded, and began to play with her hair. Creep.
"You're a daughter of Hera, aren't you?"
"Yes, sir."
"Fascinating."
"Leo, start the car." Cammie called.
He started it up right away.
"What about you? Who's your godly parent?"
"Oh, I'll tell you if you just..."
"Because, you see, I can see threw your mist, and I know you're a cyclops. So, I'm just gonna..." She kicked him in the crotch, causing him to let go of her. She bolted to the car, yelling, "Go! Go! Go!"
Leo stepped on the gas, driving as fast as... the speed limit. We could hear monster growls. Cammie poked her head out the window.
"We got about ten monsters on our tail." She looked at Leo's speedometer. "And you're going 25 miles! Go faster!"
"I can't! I don't wanna lose my car!" Leo yelled. We came to a red light ... and Leo stopped.
"Why in the Hades are you stopping?" Cammie yelled.
"You have to stop at a red light!" Leo argued. This was kind of reminding me of that one scene in Big Hero 6.
"Alright, that's the end of it." Cammie growled.
"Uh oh," I said. "She's going all GoGo Tomago." As you could see I was making a reference about Big Hero 6 still.
And as if fate, she pushed Leo's seat back, practically crushing Jason, who was sitting behind Leo, and crawled onto Leo's lap.
"What are you..." Leo was cut off by the screeching of tires as Cammie slammed on the gas pedal. Ha! The song Gas Pedal just came on! Such a dirty song but that is just plain weird cause it fits perfectly to what's happening right now.
The car was going at about 60 mph now. She yelled out in joy, laughing. Yup, leave it to Cammie to laugh while being chased by monsters.
"Where'd you learn to drive?" Nico yelled, clinging to the seats.
"From watching Leo!" She laughed. "I don't know which pedal is the brake!"
I think I almost passed out from just that statement. I clutched onto the seats tighter and leaned my head back so I wouldn't get whiplash. I leaned in closer to Nico too.
She cursed. "Ok, Leo, here's just a random question. If I were to drive this thing into a wall, would it explode? And if so, would it survive?"
"One, I dunno. Two, yes. Why?" Leo yelled over the wind. Cammie grinned evilly.
She yanked the wheel onto a random street, glancing at the mirror. "Ok, we lost them for now, but, they saw us. When I say so, everyone jump out."
"What?" We all screamed. My grip tightened over the seat that my hands were turning white and was going numb.
"Just do it!"
"Ok, Shia Labeouf." Percy muttered.
"I heard that!" Cammie yelled. Leo somehow managed to get from underneath Cammie and into the passenger seat.
She turned once again, but this time into a dead end.
"Are you insane?" I screamed as I looked as her.
"Yes." Was all she said. "Ok, and..." We were a few feet from a brick wall.
"Jump!" She yelled, and we all jumped. There was a loud boom, and heat.
"You blew up my car!" Leo yelled, once we all recovered. "Wait..." He spun around. "Where's..."
"Here." Cammie's voice called. We ran over, to see her leg had caught under a pile of bricks.
"Not the bricks!" Jason said rubbing his head. I guess he had some bad times with bricks? Falling on his head? Remind me to ask him later.
Once we dug up her leg, she burst out laughing.
"This isn't funny!" I sighed. "You could've killed us all."
"Ok, but you can't say that wasn't epic!" She said, giving me a know it all look. I rolled my eyes.
"What was even the point of that?" Annabeth asked.
"That would be the usual 'fake a death' escape. We lost the monsters, and faked our deaths." The sound of police sirens filled the air.
"But, we should probably grab the box thingy and get out of here." Percy said pointing to it.
Leo nodded, grabbing the Argo III. Cammie started to stand, but winced.
"You alright?" I asked.
"Yeah, I'll be ok." She stood up, but stumbled. I caught her.
"No, you're not." I said.
"Why am I always the one getting injured?" She whinned. I rolled my eyes.
"That's not true. Let's go find a hidden place to crash for now." I said.
As we walked, Cammie chuckled. "I remember when I was little, I was always obsessed with things that blew up."
"When you were little?" I asked.
"Shut up." Cammie muttered. "But my dad would always ask me what things said. You know, like pigs and stuff, when I was playing with my toys."
"Point?" Annabeth groaned.
"Well, if I played with a car, my dad would ask what a car says, and I would say 'Car goes boom'!" She laughed softly.
I rolled my eyes. Suddenly, Cammie's eyes seemed to drop to the ground. "But now I know those are just memories of someone he used to love to my dad."
"You're so emotional." I groaned.
Leo made the Argo 3 turn into a mini van, still red (I guessed his favorite color was red. Well I guess that makes sense because he likes fire), and we drove to the nearest motel for rest. We got two rooms, since getting one for everyone would cost to much. In one room was Jason, Percy, Annabeth, and Piper. The other was Leo, Cammie, Nico, and me. The boys reasoning was because they were "uncomfortable with sleeping in the same bed."
Cammie had rolled her eyes and said she once had to share a queen size bed with with five 10 year old strangers on a girl scout trip. But the boys being boys, insisted on doing couples with couples. But I said Nico and I weren't a couple.
"Yet." Cammie had teased.
But soon, we were all settled in, Cammie resting while we all stayed up.
"Alright that was a long and messed up day." I mumbled.
"Yeah." Leo said. "She blew up my car!" Cammie laughed and then shut her eyes.
"Oh yeah, Nico! Sydney spins in her sleep!" Cammie sat up reopening her eyes. "We had a sleepover before and that's when I found out that she spins." She grinned wildly.
"Oh shut up! I did warn you though!" I pouted. "It's not my fault that I have messed up dreams."
"Ok then..."Leo said.
"Yeah." Nico said. Cammie and Leo laid down and dozed off. I'm just sitting up in the bed looking through my notebook. I don't know how I managed to keep it with me when we jumped out of the car. I think it was because my hands were locked to whatever I was holding. I just read over the prophecy then shut it.
"Oh yeah. What's up with this Dr. Thorn?" I asked.
"He was my principal before I found out that I was a demigod." Nico said. "He tried to kill me and my sister because of that prophecy where a child of the big three blah blah blah." I laughed.
"Yeah I've heard of it." I said. I layed down with my notebook still in my hands. "Just so you know. You take my notebook you could be expecting a punch while I'm sleeping then when I wake up just know you'll be dead."
"I won't take it! Jezz!" Nico said rolling his eyes. I rolled my eyes as well.
No dream?! Oh well I hate them anyways. When I woke up I was in Nico's arms. I cursed to myself. I stood up and looked around the room. Everyone was still sleeping. Maybe because of the fact that I didn't scream from my dreams. I slightly shook awake Nico.
"Hey Nico?! You wanna scare everyone awake?!" I grinned evilly. He grinned back. We both walked over to Leo and Cammie and shook them awake covering their mouths so we can still scare everyone else. Cammie's eyes shot open in surprise and she kicked me in the stomach.
"Why would you do that?!" She whispered.
"Why would you kick me in the stomach?!" I groaned holding my stomach.
"Then don't scare me like that." She said. I looked over at Nico and his shirt was burning.
"LEO!" I screamed in a whisper. I dragged Nico to the bathroom where I dumped water on him trying to get the flames off of him. Once that was over I walked out about to strangle Leo.
"Don't kill him!" Cammie screamed. "Your eyes are green again!"
"I don't care about my eyes!" I yelled in a whisper. Nico came back in a different shirt cause the other one looked like a dog ripped it to shreds then it got burnt badly.
"C'mon I still wanna scare everyone else." I said walking out of the room.
"Annabeth will judo flip the person, Percy will drown the person with water, Jason will electrocute the person, and Piper will charmspeak the person into banging their head of the wall!" Nico said.
"Whatever." I said picking their lock to their room. Ha they need more advanced locks! That was so easy! I walked into the room slowly and I stood next to Jason.
"I'll take Jason! Leo take Percy! Cammie take Piper! You can stop the charmspeak from hurting you. Nico you take Annabeth cause you can block her attack." I whispered. They all nodded.
We all scared them at the same time. I made a rock grow in my hand and wrap around me for protection from the lightning. Leo lit himself on fire so the water turned to steam. Cammie blocked her ears while screaming 'la la la la la' and so on. While Nico dodged Annabeth's attacks.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" They yelled. Cammie, Leo, Nico and I laughed so hard so we ran back to our room and checked out before the rest of them. Leo started the car and we all hopped in. Of course Cammie was in shotgun again. We can depend on her for great demigod driving!
I heard that!
Of course you did!
I didn't get an answer after that. I watched as Percy, Annabeth, Piper, and Jason came running towards us. They were stumbling as they ran and they looked half awake with murderous looks.
"Why would you do that?!" Percy yelled at us when everyone was in the car.
"We need to get a move on!" I yelled. "We have to continue the quest! You you have liked it if we just left you there!"
"Then what do we do next?" Percy yawned.
"I don't know. Let's just get a move on!" I said. I looked behind us and seen a gigantic bull... "FLOOR IT!" I screamed.
"Why?" Leo asked. "I have to stay at the speed limit!"
"Cammie take the wheel again!" I screamed. "Minotaur is on our heals!"
Percy cursed to himself. "Not him again! We killed him before we came to get you four!"
"Well he's back!" I screamed.
"No kidding!" Cammie yelled back at me. My hands gripped onto the seat as we flew in mid air on the top of a hilly road. My hands didn't help me at all! My head hit the ceiling and my vision blacked out.
I had a nightmare for the first time in three days! That has to be a new record for all demigods! I was falling and I landed into the ocean. I was there with Nico and some girl that had long brown hair like me and I somehow knew her. I was starting to drown and I couldn't breath at all. I think I couldn't breath in real life too! Nico and that girl was at surface for about a minute. Nico dived in after me. His arms wrapped around me and we both swam up to the surface while I was about to pass out. Out of the corner of my eye I seen a monster swimming around about to pounce at us.
Nico shook me awake saying, "You weren't breathing! What happened?!?! ARE YOU OK?!?!"
"CALM DOWN!!! I'M FINE!!!" I screamed in his ear.
"You weren't breathing!" Nico yelled.
"I'm fine!" I said. "You saved me." I looked around and we were still in the car.
"What do you mean I saved you?!" He asked.
"Don't worry about it." I said. "Anyways... how did you guys get away from that bull?!"
"Percy killed it." Jason said. "Again!"
"Sorry! Maybe you don't have as much sass as me to do it!" Percy snapped his fingers in a 'z'. I laughed.
I acted as if my dream didn't happen at all. Nico still looked confused about me saying that he saved me. If one of my dreams came true then more would as well. I'm just gonna think about something else that is not important. I have an idea! Why don't I just hum to a tune. I'll hum to Alone Together by Fall out Boy!

I was gonna keep on humming the song until Jason asked me a question but then got stopped by Piper whacking him in the arm. The car stopped at a McDonald's.
"NO!" I screamed.
Everyone looks at me funny until Cammie, Leo, and Nico realized what I meant. That lady that was gonna kill us after she put us to sleep? I don't think anyone of us would forget that!
"Yeah let's not go into there!" Leo said getting out of the car. There was a Red Robins next to the McDonald's. Weird combination.
"Red Robins!" I sang while Cammie finished the tune.
"Yum!"
We both laughed because we went on this field trip and until we got Red Robin's we kept on singing the tune from their commercial. In the commercial these kids were playing hide and go seek. The seeker (Me: I'm not talking about Harry Potter... You: I wish) was trying to find the hiders and sang 'Red Robins!' while every hider screamed 'yum!'. Then their game of hide and go seek was over cause all of the hiders revealed themselves.
Sorry... WAY off topic. As we walk into Red Robins a waitress brings us to our tables.
We had two tables with four chairs at each because there were no tables that had room for eight people. Percy, Jason, Annabeth, and Piper sitting at one table. Percy and Annabeth sitting side by side while on the other side was Jason and Piper.
At the other table sat Cammie, Leo, Nico, and me. Cammie and Leo sat next to each other while I sat next to Nico. We all ordered food within maybe ten minutes after we sat down. I had root beer with crispy chicken tenders with steak fries.
"Where do we go now?" Jason asked. Cammie had been oddly quiet, but when Jason asked that, she shrugged.
"I don't know. My visions haven't told..." Her eyes widened when she said that.
"What visions?" I asked, leaning forward. Cammie shook her head in panic.
"No! I won't say!"
"Cammie," I said softly.
"No!" She said again.
"C'mon, princess." Leo said, setting a hand on hers.
"No!" She slapped her hands over her ears, her eyes squeezed shut.
"Alright, guys." Piper said. "Leave her alone."
Suddenly, Cammie sat straight, her eyes glossed over.
"C-Cam?" I asked. No, not this again...

"The daughter of Hera faces Terror alone

Her face smashed into her french fries and ketchup, so when she lifted her head, she had potato and ketchup all over her face. Everyone was horrified.
"Did I... say another prophecy?" She asked, wiping french fry gunk off her forehead. I nodded.
"You said '"The daughter of Hera faces Terror alone. Her only wish is she will come home. The Fates and Destiny hold their breath. As she tries to fight off Death." I said, quickly writing it down in my notebook next to the other three prophecies.
Cammie's face turned to a shade of snow. "Terror..." Her eyes looked down at her now crushed lunch.
"What?" Leo asked, grabbing her hand. "Who or what..."
"I'll be right back." She jumped up and ran into the bathroom, leaving us alone, wondering what that was all about.
Everyone sat in silence as they ate the rest of their food.
