I finally got to talk to Harry the next Saturday for real.
"Hey, we're talking to Hagrid after Quidditch tryouts," he said.
"Good," I said reassuringly. "He's missed you,"
"So, how've you been?" Asked Harry.
"Busy-" I said as I walked towards the Quidditch pitch with Harry. I had books in my hand as was going to meet Hermione down there.
"Are you still keeping that book?" I asked at Harry.
"You mean half blood princes?" He asked me.
"Yes the one that you got from the old oil cabinet of potions and had writing in it about how to make the potions better," I said.
"Of, course," said Harry with a laugh.
"Harry-" I said with a serious tone.
"Listen, Eliza, it's fine," said Harry as he quickened his pace towards the field.
"Harry it's not good sounding-" I started again.
"Liza drop it/" said Harry. I stopped talking at once.
"I've got to get ready ," said Harry a she ran off towards the team room.
"Good luck," I screamed at him. I walked to the stands and went to the top seat. Homework as getting more complex and I had a big essay due soon in D.A.T.D.A. And in charms Herbology we are working with walking plants. We are doing essays on it. I was working so ferociously I barely noticed Hermione sit beside me on the bench and pull out one of her own book.
"Hello," she said.
"Hi," I responded. She had her eyes glued on the pitch.
"I hate that Cormac," she said.
"Why?" I asked calmly closing a few of my books and putting them away.
"He's going up against Ron for Keeper," she said staring down as the keepers were next.
"Oh no," I said sadly.
"Uh-huh,"she said.
We watched as Cormac made all three of his shots out of the goal but then on his fourth I heard Hermione whisper something under her breath.
"Hermione!" I said as Cormac missed his fourth quaffle.
"I-I had to," she said desperately.
"Still-" I said.
"Please Elizabeth don't all anyone-" she said. I looked at her face. It was full of pleading.
"Fine," I said. "But if you get caught I had nothing to do with it," I said.
