"Hagrid said that you had seen what happened to Katie Bell, up to my office, now! Mr.Potter what are you holding?" Said Professor Mcgonagal coming over to all of the five of us. Leanne was still crying.

"It's the thing she touched-" Harry said.

"Good Lord," said Mcgonagal as she snatched the necklace from Harry hurriedly. "No,no Filch they're with me," said Mcgonagal as he tried to yell at us. "Take this necklace to Professor Snape at once but don't touch it keep. Keep it wrapped tightly in the scarf at all times,"

We silently followed Mcgonagal up the stairs into her office. Despite there being a burning fire it was freezing in her office. The Windows rapped slightly from the wind snow and sleet falling onto them.

"Well, what happened?" She asked as she walked behind her desk. Leanne was still sobbing. Hermione was on her left side and I was holding her right shoulder.

Slowly, and with many pauses from the crying, Leanne told Mcgonagal how Katie had gone into the three broomsticks and come back out with a unmarked package. Katie seemed a little odd as they argued about delivering the package. They ended up tearing apart the package and then... Leanne was shaking and sobbing so uncontrollably there was no way she would talk anymore.

"Shh... Shh Leanne," I tried to comfort her. I looked to Mcgonagal. She sighed.

"Leanne go to Madame Pomfreys ask for a calming Draught," she sighed.

"Why is it always you four?" She sighed.

"Miss Potter please follow Leanne to Madame Pomfreys and make sure she gets the help she needs," she told me. I instantly did as I was told.

I sat with Leanne for a while until she finally fell asleep peacefully. I sat with her for another fifteen minutes before Mcgonagal came to me and told me I could leave. I nodded and left the room in silence. The sky was full of dark clouds and falling snow now. Students were flooding in from their visits to town, unaware of poor Katie Bell in the hospital wing.

The next day Katie was sent to St. Mungos hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries. The news had spread of her being cursed and most people thought she had been the target of the curse though Harry, Leanne, Hermione, Ron, and I, knew much better.

On Monday I had told Professor Slughorn that I couldn't go to his party because of the meeting with Dumbledore. But I received a letter on Sunday evening telling me otherwise.

Dear Elizabeth,
I have become aware that you plan to come to Harry and my meeting on Monday as I told you you may. But, I do not think the time is quite ready for you to attend the meetings yet. So, I ask that you will go to Professor Slughorns dinner party tomorrow night. But bear in mind what I told you earlier this year.

Sincerely,
Professor Dumbledore

"What's it say?" Asked Ron after I received the letter.

"He wants me to go to Slughorns dinner tomorrow," I said handing Harry the letter.

"Oh, finally, I won't be alone," said Hermione with a sigh of relief.

"Hermione-" I started.

"Eliza, they aren't that bad- I know you don't want to go but still just try this once... Please!" She begged.

"I don't have much of a choice-" I said grabbing the letter from Harry and shoving it towards her.

"Oh," she said.

"What time is it?" I asked with a yawn. The clock tower suddenly chimed midnight.

"I think it's midnight," said Ron.

"How did you know?" I laughed sarcastically.

"Eliza you should be getting to bed soon-" Said Harry.

"Harry-" I said annoyed. Harry had been treating me as if I was six years younger than him for the last few weeks. It was getting on my nerves.

"Eliza," he said. I slammed the book I had been reading closed angrily and scooped it in my arms and grabbed my letter from Rons hands.

"Fine-" I said angrily causing several people in the common room to look at me. "Goodbye Harry!" I said marching up the stairs to my dormitory.

"Harry-" I heard Hermione say cautiously.

Once I made it into my bed in my pajama I sighed and went to bed.

I dreamt a memory of Tom tutoring me but with a different spell. He was saying something about the diadem. But he wouldn't answer me when I questioned him about what the diadem meant to him.

I woke up in a cold sweat and made my way to my trunk at the foot of my bed. I dig in it till I found my old hoodie and slipped it over my head.

"Lumos," I whispered as the tip of my wand ignited and showed me the way to my dormitory door.

"Alohomora," I said as the doors lock unlocked and I walked into the hall. The stones felt nice and cool against my feet. I was still semi-shakey as I pointed my wand at the door again.

"Colloportus," and the lock relocked.

I walked down the stairs and into the Gryffindor common room. It was dark except for the burning fire that crackled merrily. It was very cold in there, and there was a ominous feeling in the room. But I ignored it as I was most likely just paranoid after having another dream. I gently sat down beside the crackling fire and looked into it. I had once seen Sirius's face in it as he talked to me. After staring at the roaring fire for a while I got up and walked over to one of the two tall Windows on either side of the fire place. I liked outside of it and saw the dark Hogwarts grounds. All looked peaceful and like nothing could be going wrong. We couldn't be in the second wizarding war. I snapped back into reality when I heard a big crack behind me.

I quickly whirled around and held my wand in front of me. That noise was made when a person apparated, but it was impossible to apparate in and out of Hogwarts. I had once because the enchantment had been lifted though... What if it had been lifted again tonight and a person who shouldn't be inside the castle was inside? I relit my wand again and slowly walked around the room. Panic rushed through me and I was extremely scared.  no one that I could see was in the room.

"Is anyone in here?" I asked. There was no answer. I was about to give up and again just blame me hearing the noise on being paranoid but I knew that couldn't be it. This noise was real... To real to imagine. I sat down on the couch but when I did I heard a crumple under me. I shot up and saw that I had sat on a piece of paper. I picked up the small piece of crumpled paper and saw that it read.

Be warned. I see all you do...

I again scanned the room for any possible people before my common sense finally kicked in. I clapped twice and the candles and lamps of the room lit at once. I saw no one in the room so I clapped twice again and went back to my bed. I didn't know if the note could mean anything though I would eventually realize if it had any significance.
