I opened my eyes, and quickly sat up to see that I was back in Lucas's room. I looked beside me, but didn't see Lucas. I got up from the bed, and looked at the room to see it still glowing dark blue so he must still be in the room.

"Lucas?" I call before feeling a hand grab mine, and turn me toward to face them. I looked to see the man standing there with an evil smile I'm his face.

"I found you..." He said with a smile that was rotten, and yellow. I backed away from him, and he adjusted his hold on the bat. "You know... Penny was a nice girl. It's a shame your decisions killed her." He explained looking uo at me, and I hit the wall beside me having it sting my back. I moved away from the wall, and looked at the man.

"I didn't do anything to you so why are you following me?" I ask looking around, and seeing a knife on the nightstand by Lucas's bed.

"Because you did do something to me. You took the only person who cared about me away from me. You and Penny both did. For your 'sacrifice'." He explained with anger filling his eyes. "And now... im gonna kill you." He went to swing the bat at my head, but I dodged it and moved over to the nightstand grabbing the knife. I turned and looked at the man, and he smiled. "What are you gonna do with a knife?"

"What I always do." I went to go swing at him with the knife, but quickly heard my name be called in fear. As I heard my name I cut the guys arm, but quickly realized it was the man. It was Lucas. I dropped the knife, and looked at him worried. "Lucas?" I ask trying to make sure I saw it correctly.

"Annette what's wrong with you?" He asked and I back away from him terrified, but also in pain from his question. He looked at me, and sighed like he regretted what he said. "I'm sorry. I... I didn't mean that. You know I didn't mean that Annette." I began to feel myself shake, and I began to have a hard time breathing. "Annette?" Lucas asked moving closer to me. "Annette are you okay." He grabbed my hand, and I hugged him needing some type of security or sense if safety. His hug did the trick, but I didn't know what happened. I just began to struggle.

"Whatever you tried to do didn't work Lucas. I need to do something to fix the problem." I explain knowing what I needed to do. I haven't killed anyone for the pleasure of it these past few weeks. I have killed, but it was either forced or out of anger. "I need to kill." I explain finally realizing the problem.

"What?"

"I need to kill. For the pleasure of it. Thats why I'm like this. I'm off schedule. Everything is messed up. And if I don't kill for the pleasure of it I... begin to see things. I become a threat to those around me."

"Okay. Then let's get you out of here so you can go out and have fun." The room began to no longer glow dark blue, and I smiled as we walked hand in hand out of the room.

...

I walked into the bar, and smiled feeling happy to be somewhere I usually go. I was over to a table, and sat there alone. I made a look as if I was alone, and wished I had company, and looked around to see if anyone noticed. One guy did, and I smiled at him. He showed a smile to me, and I recognized him. He was going to be my target if I didn't get shot. I smiled back at him, and looked away. I waited a few minutes until the guy came over to me.

"Do mind if I sit here?" He asked and I smiled.

"Well I sure as hell can't keep it warm." I laughed a little and gestured for him to sit in the chair. He sat down and looked at me. "Find something interesting?" I ask looking down at the table.

"Your eyes are very interesting. I've never seen any like yours." He explained and I looked up at him to see him giving me a smile. "Are they fake?"
