Like when they had watched movies the night before, they sat in those same positions. Except, just like by the middle of the horror movie, by the middle of the third movie, Alex and Mara were together, Conner and Andrew were in a blanket (Emma turned the air conditioner on again), Zach and Katie were laughing and repeating the lines back and forth, while Ethan, Paige and Emma sat curled up in the back of the room, none of them paying attention anymore.

Fourteen hours, and three trips to the 7-11 around the corner later, the group of nine had been kicked out of the store, from ever coming back, and it was the middle of the sixth movie.

"Why is it, when something happens, it's always you three?" Katie said at the same time as McGonagall.

"Believe me professor, I've been asking myself the same question for six years."  Zach said with Ron. This caused the two of them, yet again, to burst out laughing. Emma, Paige and Ethan had come back, Emma after sleeping through half of the fourth movie and the entire fifth (to which she complained, "That was my favorite one!").

"Now that we have one more movie left, plus the four other ones from the original marathon, I think we stay here all day and watch them." Katie said, after the seventh movie.

"Yeah, but I've got to stretch my legs. Store, anyone?" Alex replied, standing up. Everyone else stood up as well.

"Didn't we get kicked out last night -- err, this morning?" Paige asked, yawning.

"Yes, but the same guy can't be working there. It's been more than six hours." Alex told her, walking to the bathroom. Since it was already noon, they quickly got in the truck, and drove down to the corner store.

*-*-*

"Oh no, not you guys again." The bald guy, who was working there the first night they came, whined. There was one other person in the store, someone in a hotel uniform getting a cup of coffee, but she didn't give the man or the group a second glance. Well, she gave Alex a few more glances.

"She's staring at you Allie Bear." Katie said, attempting to put her elbow on his shoulder.

"I'm still taller than you. And I could care less. I like someone else." He replied, ignoring the hotel woman.

After paying for their candy, chips and drinks, the group walked out, leaving the bald man complaining and cursing them out under his breath.

"Well, we didn't get kicked out that time!" Emma said, making everyone laugh on their way back to the hotel.

"We have time for one more movie, before we have to leave. Harry Potter or something else?" Katie said, once they got situated in the room.

"Harry! C'mon, Katie Baits. We aren't going to just stop with one left." Alex teased her, which only made her roll her eyes, before putting the disc in the DVD player.

Three knocks on the door made everyone in the room jump about a foot in the air.

"I'll get it." Alex said, jumping up from his spot on the bed. The nine of them had sprawled out across the three beds (Zach, Katie and Paige on the left, Ethan, Mara and Alex on the middle, and Andrew, Emma and Conner on the last one, furthest from the door), and were currently discussing another even to cross off their list.

"Sir, I'm sorry to disturb you," A woman, probably about thirty or so, told Alex, twirling her hair like a school-girl talking to her crush. "But, its three o'clock already, and we have another guest who needs to use this room for their stay."

"Oh, uh, right. Sorry about that, we lost track of time." Alex apologized, but everyone in the room (especially Katie and the boys) could tell he meant none of it. The group planned to stay as long as they could there. "We'll be out of here within the hour."

"Thank you sir," The worker said, and from Katie's advantage point, she could see the woman slip Alex a piece of paper. Katie only rolled her eyes, and rolled onto her stomach, to see Mara getting slightly red, and her eyes in slits. "And this is if you want to have a good time." At that point, Katie decided she should go over there, so she stood up, fixed her hair to look presentable, and walked over to Alex, holding his hand.

"C'mon, everyone's waiting so we can get back to the game." Katie said, winking at Alex and glaring at the older woman. The woman scoffed and stalked off angrily.

"And that, my friends, is how to get rid of an annoying lady that's almost fifteen years older than you." Katie announced, bowing to everyone. Taking it as a joke, everyone clapped and 'whooped'. Mara, however only clapped for a moment. And Katie found it weird, that she wasn't joining in, but brushed it off.

"And now we have an hour to pack, and we have to go home." Andrew groaned, and threw himself backwards onto the bed. Conner patted his head, while Emma began laughing hysterically.

"Hey, Ethan?" Katie asked, as they pulled out of the hotel parking lot.

"Yeah, Katie?"

"Can we stop at a different 7-11? I need a coffee fix."

"Totally did not plan on that, Katie Baits."

"Oh not you too!"

*-*-*

"Okay, let's be quick about this. We don't need to be kicked out for a third time." Alex said, as the group walked into the small store.

While Andrew and Conner made their way quickly to the candy and gum, Ethan, Alex and Katie walked straight to the coffee makers, and the rest of them milled around, looking at the chips and other drinks.

And of course, what's a 7-11 run without someone not making up their mind, or someone beginning to shout about 'outrageous prices'.

"Andrew, shut up!" Emma told him, slapping his arm.

"No! Absolutely not! This is uproar! Horrible!" Andrew continued to go on and on about the prices of gum and candy, but it didn't last long.

"Sir, I'm going to need you to exit the store," The man, similar to the one at the other store, told him, ready to get out from behind the counter. "Keep a handle on your boyfriend, won't you?" Since he directed that part at Emma, Conner took immediate offense to the statement, to which Andrew got Conner out of the store as fast as he could.

"Uh, should we get a rainbow cake for that? I'm sure that wasn't intentional, but he made the fact completely clear." Katie whispered to Alex and Mara. Mara started chuckling and nodding, but Alex stood there completely oblivious.

"What's completely clear?"

"All of you out!" The clerk shouted at the rest of us.

"But my coffee!" Whined Ethan and Katie at the same time.

"I think we ought to take a break from the list and the kit for bit."

"I second that. Too much time together I think."

"But we are amazing matchmakers, admit it."

"Oh, definitely."
