Woo, last chapter! I'm honestly surprised I actually finished a story. I hope people actually enjoyed this story, because I think like two people have voted.
I'll post the extra chapter, if more people voted or something. But, even if nobody votes, I'll probably end up posting it anyways.
Enjoy, and I hope this story was good, besides the fact that this has almost no plot.

"I would so much rather be going to Hogwarts, Alex!" Katie exclaimed as she jumped in his car. Mara was sitting in the passenger seat, her hand intertwined with Alex's, and she started laughing. Ethan, sitting behind the driver's seat, laughed as well, but it was short lived for the less goofball boy. Zach sat in the middle, and grabbed Katie's hand after she sat down.
"Yes, yes, so you've told me. Since we went to the zoo last month." Alex replied, his laughter dying down. Zach kissed Katie's cheek as she tried to fight the smile that was forcing its way to her face.
"Alright, can't you guys wait to be all 'lovey-dovey' until we get to school?" Ethan grumbled, a frown seeming permanent on his face.
"Sorry, E. Nobody knew that Paige was going to leave." Katie told him, and took her hand from Zach, to pat Ethan's shoulder behind her boyfriend.
"No, its fine. I just miss her." Ethan said, and he looked more upset than he did when Katie got in the car. Alex pulled into a parking space in the student lot before anyone could say another word.
"We all do." Mara told him.
"Ready for a new year?" Andrew called to the group, as he and Conner got off the bus, Emma a bit behind them.
"Of course! Another season to win!" Alex called back, putting his hands in the air.
"Another season to lose! It's the swim team this year, Bradley!" Another boy shouted. McCarthy High held a small Olympics in March each year, and the students get to watch each sports team, varsity and junior varsity, compete with an outside school. At the end, the students that were present for each game got to vote on which sports team they liked the most. A lot of the time, it got more students and families to go to different games.
"It's on Tacker!" Alex called back. Katie and Mara only shook their heads at the boys, who were shouting and making noise all the way into the school.
"Ready to tackle junior year?" Mara asked her friends. Katie in the middle, and Mara and Emma on either side of her. Both nodded, and 'whoop'ed. It was there, and summer was finally over.

"Hello again Katie," The teacher greeted, standing by the door. Summer had not done well to Mr. Adams' looks, and Katie almost choked when she saw her old homeroom teacher.
"Hi, Mr. Adams." She said in passing. The man, in his mid forties, once with a full head of graying hair, now had a bald spot at the front, and his hair all white, with small specks of gray. Katie just kept going, to avoid the endless talk of "how was your summer" with a teacher. She was well aware she would be writing things about it for English, and for once, she wouldn't have to lie.
"KATIE!" Someone shouted from the other end of the hall. Someone was pushing through to get to her, so she walked over to the side and stopped for them.
"Mara, what's wrong?" Katie asked once her wild-haired friend came into view.
"We're in the same first period class and I can't find it." Katie sighed, but laughed.
"Alright, let's go."

"Holy shit." Katie and Mara said at the same time as they walked into the room. They happened to have the same teacher for their art class in ninth grade.
Their entire group, from school and the summer, were in that class.
"Well, I feel bad for Ms Roger. She has to deal with all of us." Katie said, as the pair walked in.
"Oh definitely." Silently, the two came to an agreement to surprise their friends. Mara walked behind Alex and Emma, and Katie behind Zach and Conner.
"Well, look who we have here." The two of them said in sync, and the four other jumped about a foot in the air.
"Mara, Katie? You two also?" Emma exclaimed, looking at them.
"Well this period just got a whole lot better." Zach and Alex said together, and they glared at each other, before the group of them all laughed.
"Alright, quiet down, all of you. Looks like I've got a group of friends I've got to separate, don't I?" Ms Roger, the art teacher began. Everyone in that class just smirked, knowing that everyone in theirs was at least an acquaintance of theirs. "Oh everything above, what are they putting me through?" Ms Roger looked up towards the ceiling, and everyone's memories of the art teacher stayed the same, as she was almost the same person that taught them when they were fourteen.

"So why are you here, I thought you weren't a big fan of painting and drawing?" Katie whispered to Alex and Zach. Both of them shrugged, and Alex replied first.
"Because I'm down one credit, and I need to graduate. It was either this or another business or English class." Katie nodded, and looked at Zach.
"Because I knew you were going to take this art class, and I felt like art was something different."
"You needed the credit also, didn't you?" Katie chuckled under her breath, and shook her head in disbelief at her best friend and her boyfriend.
"Yeah..." Zach looked down at the floor.
"This is going to be a long year with you idiots. Especially with all of us in one class."
"Yeah, even Ethan joined. And Emma."
"I'm more surprised with Conner."
"Yeah, me too. I thought he was more into band."
"So did I, Allie. So did I."
