Chapter 2

Ok, so I know I said I wanted to wait until I had some comments or votes but I cant stop too many ideas so heres another chapter. Hope you guys enjoy it!!

Chapter 2

Crystanya POV

"Umm, hi?" I whispered as I stared into his eyes. The smell of wild roses and blueberries was overwhelming coming from him. I tried to fight the dizziness inside my head as he smiled arrogantly.

"Your more gorgeous in person. I'm Kain Draven by the way." He said holding out his hand.

I couldnt help but look like a fool as my mouth dropped open. Did he just call me gorgeous? I thought to myself. He must need glasses then because there is no way I'm gorgeous. I slowly closed my mouth and layed my hand in his. He held my hand gently as I felt a soft electrical current rise up my arm and stop at my heart. The last thing I remembered was his smile as I sank into darkness.

Kains POV

Wow I must be some sort of stud I thought to myself chuckling. Leave it to me to finally find my mate and have her pass out at a touch. That made me laugh harder. I caught this amazing girl as she fainted and now was laying her down on the soft grass in the clearing. As I stared at her face I couldn't believe that this was her. Crystanya Delilah Crown, my mate. Her father and mine were best friends until his accident 16 years ago. My dad tried to be there for his best friends wife but she blamed him for her husbands death. She vowed that her daughter would never know and would grow up normal.

That thought made me realize how bad this was. Not only was my dad going to freak out because I made contact, but her mother was going to forbid me from seeing her. At that thought I felt my heart break, now that I found her I didnt know if I could let her go. She would feel the same way I was sure but she wouldnt understand and her mother would help her move on. Thinking about her moving on caused me to tear up a bit, I didnt want her to. As I watched her sleep trying to collect my emotions I felt the thread of someone trying to communicate. I knew right away who it was.

"Yes Father?" I asked in my mind sighing slightly. I knew this was coming.

"Kain Dallas Draven!" My dad screamed telepathically making me wince. Man was I in trouble. "Get your ass back here right now. No arguments just now."

As if I could have argued, I thought to myself. When my dad ordered something no one could argue with him. Thinking quickly I wrote down my name and number on a scrap of paper in my jacket and put it in her hand. Turning around hating that I was leaving her I ran into the forest.

Crystanya POV

Groaning I sat up trying to remember how I got into the forest. As I came to my senses I heard voices calling out my name. Damn how could I have just left my family. I stood up and went to clean off my jeans and found a piece of paper in my hand. Opening it my heart jumped at the look of his handwriting. Smiling I started towards the voices trying to remember exactly what his face looked like. Lost in my thoughts I was oblivious to my mother walking towards me, well more running to be exact. As we crashed together and fell to the ground I found myself laughing.

"Crystanya Delilah Crown," My mother scolded me trying to hide her smile. "Where the hell have you been? I was so worried about you."

Deciding that now was probably not the time to bring up the man I found, I rolled my eyes at my mom. I am 18 years old you would think by now she would stop being such a worry wart.

"Mom I'm fine I just thought I heard something and wanted to check it out." I lied shrugging my shoulders." No big deal I know my way around this forest."

"You have been gone for 4 hours baby girl," My mom explained looking close to tears."You had me scared something had happened to you."

Realizing how much I scared her I pulled my mom into a long hug, not letting go until I heard a familiar deep voice. Chuckling I let go of my mom and ran to my uncle jumping into his arms and screaming like a little girl. I didnt realize how much I actually missed him until I had heard his voice making me happy that I was here.

"Wow Crys," My uncle chuckled as he put me down. "If I didnt know any better I'd say you missed me."

Smiling at my uncle I tried to contain the feeling that I was about to break out of my skin. Weird, I thought to myself, I've never felt this way before. and before I knew it the happy faces of my family turned to shock and disbelief. Giving them puzzled looks I was about to ask what was wrong but thats when I heard the first crack followed shortly but blinding pain. What the hell was happening to me I wondered as the cracking got louder and my pain got worse.

All I could hear other than what sounded like my bones breaking was my mom and uncle trying to explain what was happening to me.

"Shes shifting." Damien stated matter-of-factly.

"But how? She doesnt even know what we are?" My mother whispered.

"I dont know. She never should have shifted anyways, unless..."

"Unless what?" My mother almost screamed.

"She met her mate." My uncle said gravely.

Thats the last thing I remembered before waking up in my room at my uncles. Stretching I thought I had imagined it all. Until I got out of bed and landed on all fours. What? I thought to myself. This cant be real. Heading towards the full length mirror on my closet I stopped as I saw a copper red wolf with peircing green eyes looking back at me where I was supposed to be. What the hell? What am I? I started pacing thinking of what to do next. As I was pacing I smelled cinnamon and freesias on the other side of the door. Growling I dared anyone to come in, although the scent was familiar I didnt trust anyone after this.

"Crystanya, its me. Let me in, I know your awake." I heard my moms voice. Rolling my eyes I just barked and crawled back onto my bed laying down and stretching out.

Well theres chapter 2 what do u guys think will happen next? Im curious leave a comment and maybe u may be mentioned in my next authors note. I know the story is progressing not so quickly but im trying to get everything sorted out hope u guys enjoy it as always
