Chapter 14

Crystanya POV

"I'm not sure I know what your talking about Crys." Drew couldn't look me in the eye as he said it.

"Drew, for a were you seem pretty stupid I saw you with her. What's the point in lying about it now. I want to know what's going on." I had no patience for his lies when I had a week until I had to find someone else.

"You are smarter then I gave you credit for." Drew said with an evil sneer. "What exactly did you hear?"

"Enough to know that you have been using me this whole time. Also enough to know that you and that slut had something to do with Kain and Damiens kidnapping." I pushed myself off the wall and walked towards Drew, leaning over his form on my bed. "Now you have 5 seconds to tell me what's going on and where Kain is or I will banish you from our territory."

"Oh honey," Drew's smile grew wider as he stood up forcing me back. "You don't want to threaten me like that or you will never know what's happened to your precious mate."

Against my will I let out a soft whimper, making Drew snicker. He knew that he had me. I would never do anything that would cause harm to Kain. I knew that I would have to do something to save Kain but I had no clue what to do to save him. All I knew is that Drew and his whore had something to do with it and I needed to find a way to manipulate them both.

"What do you want from me?" I asked, my voice quivering with fear.

"You know what I want love. And you can wait the full week or you can do it now either way I will be Alpha to your pack." His evil grin grew wider as shock overtook me.

"You want me to claim you so you can run the pack?" I asked in disbelief. "What guarantees me that you will release Kain?"

"Oh but that's the perfect part." Drew smiled and clapped his hands, excited I was playing his game. "I have no reason to guarantee that to you. So make your choice claim me or lose your mate all your choice."

I didn't know what to do I just stood there staring at him in shock. If I claimed him after being claimed by Kain it would literally kill him. I wasn't sure if Drew understood that I knew that or not, but I was sure if he knew he wouldn't care. I felt the sting of tears as I thought over my decision and bit them back. There was no way I was going to allow him to see how much this hurt me. With a knowing look Drew left my room. Before he walked out the door he turned and layed his hand on my shoulder, making me jump away from his touch.

"I will give you the rest of the day to make your choice. I will be back by 10 pm tonight. I hope you decide right." With that he walked out the door, closing it behind him.

As soon as I heard him leave the house I threw myself onto my bed and cried. I cried for my mom, Kain, Damien, Gerald, but most of all I cried for myself. How was I supposed to make the choice I would have to make and sign my mates death certificate at the same time. I wasn't sure what I was going to do about it at all. I must have been deep in my depression as I felt the feel of someones soft hand rubbing my back. Looking up I saw my mother.

She still wasn't 100% but at least she was out of bed and trying to help me. Repositioning myself I ended up in her lap as I countinued to cry. We didn't speak to eachother but I felt her tears on my shoulder as I cried. We spent a little while like that before I heard someone coming into the house. Tensing I looked at the clock. It was only 6 pm so it wasn't Drew unless his time line had been a lie too.Taking a deep breath I smelt a familiar scent and sighed in relief. Recieving a questioning look from my mother I shook my head slightly as Gerald walked into the room.

"Crys? Serena?" Gerald's eyes flitted back and forth between us worry etched on his face. "Are you two alright?"

My mom nodded and quickly wiped her tears away as I just stared at Gerald. I didn't know what was happening to me at this moment but I couldn't speak. I opened my mouth a few times and promptly closed it unable to form the words coming to my mind. Mom noticed and wrapped her arms around me, whispering soft encouraging words to me as I stared at Gerald helplessly. After a few moments the invisible barrier lifted and I blurted out what I had been trying so hard to say.

"I know who took Kain and uncle Damien." I spit out and watched as both the people in the room looked at me with relief.

Drew POV

"Baby you look fine." I said as Jasmine walked out of the closet in a sexy red dress that showed off just enough skin. "What's the occasion?"

"Trying to find the perfect outfit for when I take over as Luna." She said with that sexy grin I loved soo much.

"Well I think my beautiful little mate needs a new dress for that." I said as she straddled my lap and began leaving soft sweet kisses down my neck. My wolf begged me to claim her but I pushed him down, reminding him as well as myself that we couldn't chance the legends were true.

"Oooh, baby you mean it?" Jazz's eyes lit up like a kid at christmas. "Are you going to come help me find one?"

I laughed at her cuteness and kissed the tip of her nose. "No silly I have to stay here and visit with our guests." I reached to the bedside table and fished out my credit card frommy wallet.

"What's my limit?" She asked innocently as her hand made her way down my shirtless chest.

"I'm good with you splurging. It isn't everyday that you get to be Luna of the strongest pack in the area." I smirked and rolled her over so she was under me, being very careful not to crush her. Kissing her passionately I forgot where I was or what I was planning and focused on her completely.

After a couple hours Jazz left and I walked into the basement. Opening the door I saw Kain and Damien and chuckled to myself. They were the big bad Alpha's and now they looked without hope. I knew this would be the last time I saw Kain as the plan was to kill him as soon as I was claimed by Crystanya. I never tired of throwing it in his face.

"Well, well, well," I said as a huge smile crossed my face. " How is our guests of honor doing today?" I knew they wouldn't answer but I enjoyed tormenting them.

Looking at my watch I realized it was almost time for me to meet Crys. "Well I would love to stay and chat but I have a date with a sexy little Luna. But first I have to kill those stupid mates of yours. Night night boys."

With that I made my way towards my car and drove to Crystanya's house feeling quite good about myself. As I walked through her front door I couldn't help but feel powerful and right. I was about to take my place at the head of the pack and  rule with my mate. Life couldn't be going any better. As I rounded the corner to Crys' room I stopped as a feeling of dread took over my previous euphoric mood.

"Why hello Drew." Crys said with a smirk. "What's wrong? You look a little pale."

I didn't bother responding as I took a step closer to the monitor on her dresser. On it was a video of a girl being tortured for information. I let loose a growl and turned towards Crys, who was calm and collected.

"I wonder Drew," She murmured with her finger on her chin. "Do you know the punishment for treason against your pack?"

I couldn't take my eyes off of her as another scream peirced the silence in her room. "Well if you don't I'm sure Jasmine will all to soon."
